Looks awesome, but a little fiddly trying to bulldoze one.
Just zoom out a bit and you're fine.

@cdaguiar - Yes, 1850. I don't think that's prototypical, but a replacement for the default was needed.
cdaguiar 5 Apr, 2021 @ 5:28am
so it's Available in 1850
Stormlover_51 20 Feb, 2019 @ 12:01am
I was looking at some old photos of the Washington, D.C. area (my home town) and sure enough I saw those semaphores, tall and proud - exactly as you made them!
modelcitizen  [author] 1 Jan, 2019 @ 9:21pm
@ Stormlover_51 - This semaphore was built using a Union Switch and Signal Co. diagram. I went back and checked my work and this signal ( according to the diagram ) is indeed 26 feet 8 inches from base to tip. Yes, it is tall, but it's correct. I appreciate your input, though. It keeps me on my toes. :)
Stormlover_51 1 Jan, 2019 @ 8:43pm
It's great but a bit tall don't ya think? Would love to see a bit of height chopped off.

Nice update, though personally I like the end date, so I added it back for my saves.
modelcitizen  [author] 10 Jul, 2018 @ 2:58pm
UPDATED - New material and .dds textures. And by request, removed the availability end date.
Wobblybee 13 Mar, 2018 @ 2:33pm
Is there any way I can change the availability so it never ends? I've looked through the files to try and change it but I couldn't find it

What an excellent animated signal, I really love it. :steamhappy:
WWII44 11 Sep, 2017 @ 7:00pm
Is this animated to go up and down?
modelcitizen  [author] 22 Aug, 2017 @ 12:14pm
@paul.schveizer - Glad it's working now. That is strange.
Captain_Pavlos 22 Aug, 2017 @ 10:52am
I have re-subsrcribed and now it works. Strange. but problem solved.
Captain_Pavlos 22 Aug, 2017 @ 10:29am
@modelcitizen, yes it does of course. new game started in 1850.
does it rely on some of the landscape parameters to be set to US maybe?
modelcitizen  [author] 21 Aug, 2017 @ 11:51am
@paul.schweizer - Paul, my first guess would be the availability date - which for these is 1850 -1950 if I'm not mistaken. Does your current game fall between these two dates?
Captain_Pavlos 21 Aug, 2017 @ 9:55am
Hi
I have the issue that these do not appear in my game at all. Any idea what could cause that? they are activated for the game, but not buildable as signal or anything. Only the default signals show up.
Trainman222 16 Apr, 2017 @ 9:04am
it's fixed! :steamhappy:
Tempest 4 Dec, 2016 @ 10:38am
Yeah I had figured that out as well, thanks for replying
modelcitizen  [author] 2 Dec, 2016 @ 11:53pm
Tempest,
Appreciate your feedback. The easiest way I've found to delete these semaphores (or any of the other signals) is to face the track from the side. I don't know why but they're easier to select that way. Hope that helps.
Tempest 2 Dec, 2016 @ 8:01pm
I love the detail you put into your models. User suggestion though is that its hard to delete when i want to upgrade or change.

New samaphore signal
mkn192 15 Nov, 2016 @ 9:36am
Excellent job on this!
Quince99 14 Nov, 2016 @ 2:08pm
That was impressively quick - thank you. I'll re-download it and check it in a game.
modelcitizen  [author] 14 Nov, 2016 @ 1:11pm
Mark Amess,
It's on the Workshop now. Let me know if I've goofed something up.
Quince99 14 Nov, 2016 @ 9:16am
Thank you for your work on this - there are a great many UK players who will want to place traditional semaphore signals on their rail networks.
modelcitizen  [author] 14 Nov, 2016 @ 7:19am
Mark Amess,
I've already started on it. Basically, it's just a mirror image of the original but snaps to the left side of the track, of course. It will take a little work once I get it into the game but I'll get there.
Quince99 14 Nov, 2016 @ 6:12am
Looking at the way the right-hand ones place in the game, and the illustration above, the post needs to snap to the left-hand side of the track (obviously a reasonable distance away from the rail itself as the other signals do). Ideally the lights and arm should be reversed so they point to the left but if that's more time-consuming, then I can live with that as it is thanks.
modelcitizen  [author] 14 Nov, 2016 @ 4:50am
Mark Amess,
I'm not an authority on UK signalling. Is placement on the left-hand side of the track the only modification it needs?
modelcitizen  [author] 14 Nov, 2016 @ 4:46am
trainman,
I'm not sure what kind of problem you are talking about specifically. This signal works just like the built-in default signal. Select, hover mouse over track and left click to place. Let me know.
Trainman222 13 Nov, 2016 @ 6:20pm
how do i use this it is selected but wont work
:steamsalty:
Quince99 13 Nov, 2016 @ 4:17pm
I don't know how difficult this may be, but would it be possible to have this signal on the left-hand side of the track for the UK please?
modelcitizen  [author] 13 Nov, 2016 @ 1:38pm
Eli Barracuda, sorry for answering so late. Been back to work for a few days. The only easy way I've seen to delete this signal (or any other trackside object for that matter), is to face the track from the side. Then, only the signal is highlighted for some reason. This seems to be a new "feature" of Transport Fever. Hope this helps.
RolandBP 11 Nov, 2016 @ 4:37am
That is one nice looking signal, which should do for the UK and My little New Zealand. Subscribing now! :steamhappy:
Barracuda 10 Nov, 2016 @ 5:24am
I seem to be having dificulties deleting this signal, need to take the track with it. Other than that is a good mod.
Kpen 10 Nov, 2016 @ 1:20am
man so good model. cant wait for some more signals to come :D
modelcitizen  [author] 9 Nov, 2016 @ 7:16pm
Thanks PineyCreek. If all goes well, I've got an old searchlight signal and some antique crossing signs I hope to have available in the days ahead.
PineyCreek 9 Nov, 2016 @ 3:35pm
Looks great. I've always loved the look of the old semaphore.
romonito 9 Nov, 2016 @ 7:59am
or add a "Trump"-Tag :-)
modelcitizen  [author] 9 Nov, 2016 @ 6:23am
How in the world did I forget that? Thanks, jm764.
jm764 9 Nov, 2016 @ 6:10am
You might want to addthe "USA" tag to this though. ;P
jm764 9 Nov, 2016 @ 6:08am
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS!!! Now! :D
