Have you tried and tested a few seasons ? really enjoyed the database but don't want to waste more time if it doesnt work again

Ok I am getting feedback that about 50% of people are saying that the next season doesnt start. This mod is actually only having problems with certain leagues loaded, I have located the source of the problem and its because this years game doesnt behave the way it used to and causes problems with the youth teams. I have modified it to work fully but cant update this one so I have had to start a new one. Linked here

just completed 1st season and into August now in 2nd season and the league table hasn't reset and the fixtures from last season aren't going away :( GUTTED

It would have been fine at first, but when Scottish clubs start doing well, more clubs would have qualified for Europe, you can set it up so the 4 teams that qualify skip the 1st round, but it becomes pointless when 6 teams qualify but only 4 teams skip the round. Also because its impossible to predict who in Scotland is going to do well, you cant predict who would need to put out 1st eam and who would need to put reserves out. So in the end it was simpler to just have everyone start equally and let each team make their own mind up!
I think I cleared that up but I dont know if I explained that very well! lol

ahh i see , fair play then , just thought it was an error , I would probably put reserves out for it to save my main players for Europe if it was me aswell , would still qualify comfortably i'd imagine even if you put out the reserves of Celtic,Aberdeen,Hibs or Hearts

It was actually deliberate! I wanted everyone to start in the same round for it! I thought that those sides would likely put reserve or youth teams out for a tourney that didnt have a place in Europe at the end of it. I dunno, personal taste I think...

the 4 sides who are in European qualifiers are put in the Betfred Cup Group Stages when they shouldnt be , just something for you to fix

In the first 2 seasons they have more money than sense! I had to makke them rich because in simulations ive done they keep letting their facilities degrade to save money. The only way to stop that was to make them rich. As a result they will buy anyone to improve their team. Unfortunatly they wont think twice about paying 300k for players that are only a touch better than what they have!!!
They do start developing a bit more common sence once the reputation of the league and the individual teams improve. They will pay big money but for better players...

One thing i have noticed is that the academy and school teams pay crazy money to you for really poor players. (just sold a back up winger from Stirling Albion in the championship to South Ayrshire Academy for £500k plus 50% next sale)

Yes it is! Regional Diviision 2 is the lowest, Saterday and sunday leagues are the same level

I'm guessing the Regional divisions is the lowest division to go from to get promoted to the premiership?
