Way late to the party here, but +8 blast resist sounds like fantastic synergy with Clockwork Knight. Fuck SteamPunk, this is SteamMetal! :P

Feedback is welcome...I see what you did there.

ReiSatame 7. juni 2014 kl. 1:04
Slaanesh has gifted this one with his magnificent cacophagny.
Junk 26. maj 2014 kl. 11:54
Not the biggest Heavy Metal fan, but I do like my music loud. Subscribing.
Catch 34 4. jan. 2014 kl. 19:12
Its awfully difficult to be sneaky when your a screeching source of Metal.
Atuin 30. dec. 2013 kl. 6:54
I'm afraid to say this Skill tree had terrible synergy with my Sneaky skills. I mean come on, how are you supposed to sneak around with -105 sneakiness!
Sax 25. aug. 2013 kl. 5:19
Love the band refrences. Especially the one with Electric Wizard. You rock man!
That Wun Wabbit 30. juli 2013 kl. 21:18
nice! this might help me with monster zoos.
Jazz Rat 26. juni 2013 kl. 13:53
This quiet offends Slaanesh! We will make things loud now
NECROMANCERFORLIFE 27. feb. 2013 kl. 12:47
I got this running steam in konsole and then when i trigger the Kettlehead skill. I tried it about ten times just to be sure its not just a dredmore crash which happens sometimes
TSED  [ophavsmand] 27. feb. 2013 kl. 7:23
@NECROMANCERFORLIFE:

Hmm. This is obviously a Linux copy, given the Linux in the error message, but I don't have a clue what happened there. What happens to get that message?
NECROMANCERFORLIFE 27. feb. 2013 kl. 2:43
hello

i like your mod, but i found this problem:

Dredmor-x86: /var/lib/jenkins/jobs/Dredmor_Linux_RELEASE/workspace/spells.cpp:1720: void ApplyEffectAt(skillDBEntry*, int, int, Hittable*, bool, Item*, const char*, bool): Assertion `0 && "BAD TRIGGER SPELL"' failed.
does that help ?

again cool thing the deafknight

SLAANESH SINGS TROUGH US

Very well done and hilarious. I wouldn't add anyhting by spesific bands though mentioned in some of the comments, because not everyone is going to like that band/sound, and I think there might be copyright issues with it anyways. 8/10 though all together
The Most Rainbow Dash 23. juli 2012 kl. 16:53
Should be 100% less effective when combined with Emomancy.
Sennastar 19. juli 2012 kl. 22:44
I can't help but think of this song "Sonic Beatdown" by Death Angel, which includes this line:

"WALL OF SOUND! . . SO-NIC BEAT-DOWN!" Seems appropriate to the mod.
Drac 17. juli 2012 kl. 23:36
@Boulderbor nope it sounds like MEGADETH

@Dano:

Aww, thanks! I'm trying to push a bunch out for a big skill pack, at which point I'll be more concerned with finetuning the balance, but yeah. There's a lot of gameplay potential and styles one could eek out of the DoD engine, and I figured "hey - I'm sure I'm smart enough to do this!" I'm just sad I have no visually artistic inclinations. ):
Dano 28. juni 2012 kl. 17:54
Alright. Thanks a lot for the quick answer. I'll try and see if it's Heavy Riffin.
Keep up the good work, your skill lines have been the most interesting mods I've tried so far.
TSED  [ophavsmand] 28. juni 2012 kl. 17:34
@Dano:

Have you been using Heavy Riffin'? When the knockback occurs, it throws around movable objects, in the same way that any other knockback does. Paladinner's capstone has had similar complaints (which were usually rectified by them just <!-- --> ing the knockback affect in spellDB.xml), but you mentioned you haven't used that.

If it's not Heavy Riffin', then I have no idea. There's NOTHING else in the mod that should fiddle with that.
Dano 28. juni 2012 kl. 17:18
Okay I've tried your mod a bit, and I have a problem.while playing with it, some objects are sometimes displaced. It is quite a problem when a vending machine blocks a path or a teleportation lever disappears. Or it could be your other mod paladinner. Even though I don't play it, I have it enabled.
Maybe it doesn't come from your mod, but since it started right when I started using it and only when I use it, please keep an eye out for similar reports.
Other than that, I've been enjoying your mod a lot. some abilities may be a little bit OP though. More testing needed to be sure, but I don't want to have games wasted by displaced doodads.
pdSlooper 28. juni 2012 kl. 15:36
Dat Bass. 8]
Dano 27. juni 2012 kl. 18:08
Interesting mod. and as a metalhead, I'll be trying this soon
Tom 27. juni 2012 kl. 9:17
Awesome! After I finish my unmodded playthrough I'm rolling a deaf knight :P
Reaper 27. juni 2012 kl. 8:25
How's about an Air Axetar for the weaker version?
borgin 27. juni 2012 kl. 7:06
This is far better- and far more fitting in the DoD world- than 90% of other skilltrees. The skill names are great!
Foopy64 27. juni 2012 kl. 6:07
This is pretty nice!
