That's a tricky issue. If I make it work for the beta it might stop working for people using the regular release. I haven't touched the game in over a year now so I'm not sure if most people are using the beta or not.
This mod only changes the file AutoBattleForm.cs, a UI file. From a cursory glance that file does not seem to effect recruiting heroes, so I don't think this is causing it.
I wish the devs make this feature as well.
(unless just beaten a hero army is always "filled" there woudn´t be tough defending battles..
and oversea invading armys still have a hard time but a chance - they didn´t have without a hero.. and the idea of round limitation takes affect more often - hardly ever did without this mod besides getting close to..)
since the developers did alot of improvement to AI in battles - this mod doesn´t make it too easy.. and altough i got the point they made for not implementing such a mode in the game - giving this choice to the player - is the right choice! thanks!
