BrolyLSSJ5 8 Nov, 2013 @ 2:17pm
This mod got me into the books... and they are awesome! Thank you so much!
Ashley 6 Sep, 2013 @ 5:34pm
I really wish you could just find vials of metal that were identified so you would know what to use and when to use it
Ashley 30 Aug, 2013 @ 8:40pm
OMG one of the best books ive ever read but so little know Im supriesed someone made a mod out of it.
Mister Boy 31 Mar, 2013 @ 9:02pm
Whoa, who'd of thought I'd find a mod based on the Mistborn series. Awesome mod.
Stank Boog 20 Mar, 2013 @ 9:54am
Awsome, thumbs up :D
RespiteSage 24 Feb, 2013 @ 11:53am
I would have to say that I am pleasantly surprised at this mod. I happened to be looking through the DoD Workshop, and I came across a mod based on a series by my favorite living fantasy author. Kudos, Neo Combine.
Avarice 4 Sep, 2012 @ 9:37am
... i don't know about that so... i'll try it! ^.^
Neo Combine  [author] 4 Sep, 2012 @ 12:27am
No, this mod is based on the books of the mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson
Avarice 3 Sep, 2012 @ 5:54pm
is it like dragonborn? but from mist?
Avarice 3 Sep, 2012 @ 5:53pm
What is mist born? ^.^
Neo Combine  [author] 13 Aug, 2012 @ 1:31pm
Good to know people like the mod. Ive been busy recently and so have not had chance to work on a koloss creature but rest assured i will get on it at some point.
Vasher 13 Aug, 2012 @ 10:35am
Best mod ever.
sourcecody 5 Aug, 2012 @ 8:22am
I love you for making this mod <3
Neo Combine  [author] 1 Aug, 2012 @ 12:13pm
could do the Duralumin, i did think about it
Sanmei 1 Aug, 2012 @ 10:59am
Depends on what era of the books you're aiming at. Electrum could enhance your Dodge Chance, Bendalloy could apply Rooted and Dodge Chance debuffs to all monsters in the vicinity, Duralumin could burn all metals and give you enhanced versions of their effects for one turn...
Neo Combine  [author] 1 Aug, 2012 @ 2:35am
The Koloss is not a bad idea... it wasn't about power for the trined skills it was simply that i could not think of more things to add. When i am off work next week i will see about what to do with the skills. And what other metals were you thinking of?
Sanmei 31 Jul, 2012 @ 9:44pm
I've read all four in the series, yeah. I wasn't saying atium is overpowered (although it might be, I'm no good judge of power in DoD), I just think it would be a better capstone ability for the tree than an upgraded Steel Push. What I meant by scaling was I think I've seen some abilities which used your progression in the skill tree to determine how strong the ability was. If that's the case, you could scale power that way and use the spaces currently occupied by "Trained by _______" abilities to house some of the other metals, or maybe even steal the red devil monster and rename it to Soothed Koloss to use it as a summoned familiar.
Neo Combine  [author] 31 Jul, 2012 @ 4:38pm
Also have you ever read the book?
Neo Combine  [author] 31 Jul, 2012 @ 2:22pm
what do you mean by the training skills? and yes you can scale it to stubborness i think. And atium is overpowered for a reason
Sanmei 31 Jul, 2012 @ 2:03pm
Isn't it possible to scale the effects of some of the skills with skill tree level? I thought I saw someone using that as a variable in one of these mods. If you could do that, then you could fold in the Training skills with something else. Also, Atium seems rather powerful for being so early in the tree compared to the other skills...
Neo Combine  [author] 28 Jul, 2012 @ 11:47am
I know but there is nothing else i could do about that without removing some of the skills, it is designed however taht you replace normal tin and pewter and steel with the advanced versions meaning that you should still have some space.

and screenshots... maybe when i get time
Sanmei 28 Jul, 2012 @ 11:05am
Whew, so many skills. I think that works against this mod in a big way. There's no ROOM for any other skills. There are so many skills that it's hard to allocate them to the skill bar, since they'll extend off the screen.
Ayaka 28 Jul, 2012 @ 10:37am
Could you perhaps give some example screenshots? ^^
Neo Combine  [author] 21 Jul, 2012 @ 6:51am
Advanced steel push update is here
Ark 11 Jul, 2012 @ 8:07am
Thank You so much for this! *eyes water*
Neo Combine  [author] 5 Jul, 2012 @ 1:24pm
That is what they are called thanks Mini.
Wordwyrm 5 Jul, 2012 @ 1:09pm
Well, technically kandra were... bah, never mind. Sounds like an excellent plan; you could probably make Feruchemy work very well through a debuff/potion generating spell set.
Minithief 5 Jul, 2012 @ 12:15pm
You're looking for Hemalurgists.
Neo Combine  [author] 5 Jul, 2012 @ 9:19am
Good to know! Very tempted to make the other three types... Feruchemists, Kandra and Inquisitors (can't remeber their real names, something to do with blood)
Wordwyrm 5 Jul, 2012 @ 6:52am
First off: thank you for doing this.
As far as balance goes, I'd need to playtest it a little first. But I'm most assuredly interested.
Neo Combine  [author] 4 Jul, 2012 @ 1:07pm
Meh i might change it but it would require a new upload. I will include it with the advanced steel push patch.
Kaidelong 4 Jul, 2012 @ 12:47pm
Space? You mean on the screen? It'll take up less space than 2 one-digit buffs.
Neo Combine  [author] 4 Jul, 2012 @ 12:11pm
That would take up a large amount of space and besides Atium can only do so much you can't dodge 10+ blows at once and so if you got hit you could atleast counter attack
Kaidelong 4 Jul, 2012 @ 11:49am
Oh well then you could just provide a ridiculously large dodge buff say +400 dodge.
Neo Combine  [author] 4 Jul, 2012 @ 6:18am
True but the counter is there just incase the enemy has such a good dodge reduction that your dodge does not matter or incase you have a serious dodge debuff
Kaidelong 3 Jul, 2012 @ 5:10pm
"Dodge and Counter?" Does this mean you buff counter only? If you buff both, dodge will always override a counter.
Neo Combine  [author] 3 Jul, 2012 @ 7:54am
Atium has now been added
Neo Combine  [author] 2 Jul, 2012 @ 2:18pm
Coin shot has now been added
stefen17 2 Jul, 2012 @ 9:36am
Thaks for the reply, I might end up reading that series when I finish The Immortal Alchemyst series of books.
Neo Combine  [author] 2 Jul, 2012 @ 4:37am
Electrum would be hard to implement much like copper and lurchers.
Neo Combine  [author] 2 Jul, 2012 @ 4:06am
Yes, these skills are based of a magic in a book. The series is called mistborn and contains three books.f The Final Empire, The Well of Ascension and The Hero of Ages.
stefen17 1 Jul, 2012 @ 6:55pm
Not to sound like a moron or anything, but from the comments I'm getting the feel this skill is based off of magic from a book. What book would this be as I might be interested in reading it if it's a fantasy book as I'm quite a large fan of those? Thanks.
A Very Kupo Guy 30 Jun, 2012 @ 1:41pm
Needs more steeljumping.
Neo Combine  [author] 30 Jun, 2012 @ 4:58am
Problem is as i was researching some of the points a major plothole was revealed to me and so i don't want to accidently discover more
Valiard 30 Jun, 2012 @ 2:40am
honestly just browse the sections on metals and effects...infact i think there is a glossary in the back of the hardcopy edition anyway, is it really spoilers to research powers and effects?
Neo Combine  [author] 29 Jun, 2012 @ 4:34am
True, but again i have only just finished the second book. So for me to browse the wiki would be like spoilers.
Valiard 28 Jun, 2012 @ 10:09pm
http://mistborn.wikia.com/wiki/Allomancy best answers lie here it explains what each metal does and how the allomancers can use it
Neo Combine  [author] 28 Jun, 2012 @ 3:06am
And I don't know about electrum... I am only about 3/4 of the way through the second book if it is even in there
