We were looking for caves for our private server's zoo and this will work so well (went onto single player to see if it would be a great fit and it is absolutely love them thanks for taking the time (I know many years ago) to make this mod.

any chance this mod is getting a rework or additions? Maybe Desert Theme?

I like this mod , job well done. only thing I would do differently would be either set health of cave to 50 k or have a ini seting so server admins could set health to thier liking. Also would be nice if had a rock skin that could be applyed to stone or metal or glass walls and doors to make the entance more hinden. But great mod

Only one conflict with this mod and that is when building a base in it, if using the Pick Up gun I can accidentally pick up the cave with it and destroy all of my hard work. I've had to set up the cave too many times now. There are mods that have structures that cannot be picked up with the pick up gun, they have to be manually picked up. An example of this is RR - GardenDekoandMore mod's crafting table. It would be nice if this feature was implemented to these caves. I really hate it when I accidentally pick up the cave and have to start all over again. So frustrating.

Can you add config settings that allow us to change the health of these caves? I was making an sweet base minding my own bizz and a dang giga one chomped the whole thing!! XP lol the cave i was using only has 20k health and giga is doing like 40k damage....

Does the cave have a foundation The foundation can be increased

6 out of 7 caves are bunk or broken by Genesis. Might come back after a few updates and feature additions. Maybe try and setup the caves to override cliff and hill side mesh to build into the cliffs and hill sides instead of creating an entire new rocky structure if that's possible? Making hidden cave bases under and behind waterfalls extremely fun and highly recommended. ^_^

I love using this but would love some new & polished versions with floors & deep bases so they sit firmly in the ground. I'm trying to work out how to work on ARK mods with U4 devkit because I can't use ARK devkit, but it's gonna be a while :) I love the idea of more prefab dwellings; they should make things easier on the game db. Plunking down large gate enclosures would be great too.

Considering this has not been touched since 2016, and the author does not seem to respond to messages, I am still going to post a thought :) I REALLY wish there was a medium DEN option.. one that doesn't have a narrow door so we can get the sleepy dinos in and other like-sized dinos and have a cave for them. Only smaller dinos can fit in here. (Yes, I know this is ment to be a player cave, however, why live in a cave and not have a cave for your dinos? ^.^ )

I would like to produce this inside the smithy and i would like more place inside the cave snapping auto doors. Looks a bit meh to put infront a stone, metal or glass gateframe.

can you use this for a megalasaurus to sleep in?

i know that you don't want to make a crafting-table-thing, but you're kinda forcing people to put points into weight- default value won't fit 1000 stone in the player inventory.
on that note, all the different sizes cost the same amount, so there's no downgrading for the sake of one's inventory capabilities.
or am i missing something?

@Hekete im pretty sure its stone dragon blew one up with no troubles. we need a config option to set the HP of the structures for sure.

Any way we can get some Rock Walls, Gates and Doors that snap on stone foundations? even a Huge round slated stone Foundation would be awesome, then we could use Fence foundations to snap a door on with.

This is amazing, i used one to take down a dragon its the only structure if could find that he couldn't Clip his head through and fry me. They really need to fix dino's heads clipping through walls.

@The Author, I am In LOVE!!! with this mod I really really do like it!, It definatley gives that good ol fashion Primitive survival feel wen u build ur cave and pretty much my whole base consists of caves XD Cheers mate and great work!

would also like to know if you could disable the damage taken to the caves or upgrade it to metal damage resistance instead of like wood

is it possible to disable get damage of the caves?

Not sure how big the wyvern's are but seems like a good fit. I'll see what i can do for a few more.

@Tirien66 Wolves and raptors can enter the caves just fine

Personally, I would love a few more caves with openings large enough for smaller dinos like raptors and direwolves to enter.

Cool mod! :) Could I be so bold and request a large cave and that has an entrance large enough for a wyvern to enter? I think that would be a really nice addition.

I just added this mod to 2 of my servers; simple but amazing--great for immersion. If you're considering updating this mod with more caves, would you be kind enough to add another SE cave that's approximately the size of Cave 1, and another SE version with a large entrance? I really love all your mods. I like the idea of hidden caves and these are gorgeous, but all of them are so big that I can't find anywhere to use them in my current build. I'm looking for a way to do a series of caves along a mountain side or cliff that I can use a rope ladder to reach them and that can be used as a small dwelling. If you plan to expand this mod in the future, some smaller caves or cave dwellings would be great.

@Revie: I use Structures Plus (among others) and this mod with no problem. Neither of these are listed first in my mod list. Dunno if that info helps you or not, but figured I would mention it.

It would be a really great mod!
But we do have a problem... we use Structures Plus but if we have this mod as well on the server, we can only place one. The mod which is at first on the mod loading list, is placeable, the other not... Could it be that this mod is interfering with anything or something?
Just wondering if you know some solutions for this... cause we really would like to use them, but like this it's not possible
