Does it still works? :-)

is there any way to make those holograms a bit better distingushable from each other? ive tryed this out and well... it works well but the thing is, if you try to place and plan bigger assembly lines and such with lots of conveyors it ends up in one big mass of blue with no way to look through the entire thing :c thats the only downside i see with this mod.

@Bunny use patterner into pattern storer (step succesfull if light beam on machine) and then use pattern storer to target chunk of holomarks

Maybe I'm missing something, but how do I make a pattern storer store a pattern?

This needs a tutorial video on usage. This is a really powerful tool that could use some good explanation.

This is a nice looking mod and i've yet to get too far in FCE - should really play it again and use this mod for planning.

it now works in Bleeding edge for me. TY for the quick fix
King_Predator2011 26 Nov, 2016 @ 6:45pm
I didn't think to write that I was using bleeding edge of the game so that might be specifically an issue with that version of the game too so I play that branch knowing the game is constantly changing as often as everyday or two. I will play again and attempt to load it now that you've taken a look. TY for your continued support. If it were to continue crashing then I shall blame something on my end and leave it at that. I'll post an update if I remember

This was a real issue on my end preventing almost everyone from using the mod. Beta-branch where I tested it was critically different enough. Now it is tested to work in 14.09 (current bleeding-edge).
King_Predator2011 25 Nov, 2016 @ 8:35pm
I saw that too, I forgot to update, sorry about that but it is version 2 already and i tested it again just for kicks and it crashes immidiately after loading the world with the mod enabled. I really want to use it too. I can imagine planning my whole base out with this mod and I am a visual guy so this is right up my alley. Any clues why it gives a thread crash upon load up? To be fair I use a couple dozen mods and it is entirely possible it is a compatibility thing too. Important details an all

on the page you would enter a world there is buttons "mods". Near the check box for "holomarkers" should be a number with arrows around it.
King_Predator2011 24 Nov, 2016 @ 8:48pm
I would gladly check. How do I check or change version types? never done before
Shalkka  [author] 24 Nov, 2016 @ 12:01pm
do the crashes still happen if you change the mod to use version 2 (taht is do not lock it to version 1)?
King_Predator2011 23 Nov, 2016 @ 9:40pm
this is causing thread crashes. Can someone confirm it isn't just me?
Shalkka  [author] 21 Nov, 2016 @ 11:51am
there was an issue taht migth have resulted in multiple versions of version 1 being around. Using version 2 should present less game breaking errors.

It should be very straightforward I can't figure where there coudl be difficulty. The steps on how to place a holomarker from this page:
1) hit above "subscribe" button
2) let steam download/synch the mod files
3) in the page on the world go to "mods" and check "Holomarkers"
4) go inside world
5) research "Predictive planning" from the research station
6) open selfcraft (default keybind c) (the place where you make torches)
7) from the all tab or from the manufacturing tab click on any of the "HOLO" starting recipes
8) close selfcraft, go to inventory and assign the crafted item into hot bar slot
9) select hot bar slot, point with build gun at a ground spot and press primary mouse button
