We have here a little problem with the latest Stellaris Update 1.6.
I don't know why, but the new button for "drain sector stockpile" is declared in the "technology_view.gfx", which will be replaced by this mod (and the fix).
Dustreaper 13 Apr, 2017 @ 4:15am
Update pretty please?

@shoobers, the file that handles the mechanical 'how many skill ranks can a leader have' is currently not a lua file (it's a bug, so Paradox will fix it at some point), which means that this mod's method of changing that doesn't work (instead it would have to replace the entire defines file).
shoobers 8 Apr, 2017 @ 5:28pm
This does not work in 1.5 a tall as far as I can tell.
Cloud Icarus 6 Apr, 2017 @ 4:24pm
I also would love an update!
PurplePi 6 Apr, 2017 @ 11:08am
Will you be updating for 1.5?
Gerishnakov 1 Jan, 2017 @ 8:41am
Currently works fine in 1.4. Just ignore the warning.
HELLHAVOK 29 Dec, 2016 @ 11:20pm
Could you update to work with 1.4 please? This seems like an awesome idea.
InsanePrimate 14 Dec, 2016 @ 2:55am
Could you please update this mod? O:-)

Not really. The Leader Skill Level bonus can be likend to increased starting experience; It'll still get you a higher starting position, and make it easier to get your scientists to the thresholds they need for research projects.

If anything, it'd be a slight buff to Tallented/Inderect Democracy in the sense that those benefits don't disappear after your leaders have been at lv 5 for long enough for other empires to catch up.
Sir Chucklenuts™ 1 Dec, 2016 @ 1:46pm
So what happens to Talented and Indirect Democracy? Nerfed?
petruxa 23 Nov, 2016 @ 11:20am
@Morhe thanks!
Morhe  [author] 23 Nov, 2016 @ 5:58am
Go right ahead.

Hi! My mod

http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=738611313

also provides increasing skill lvl maximum to 10. Can I use this mod as a part of mine? With all proper credits, of course.

Cause I simply don't see any other way to make everything look this elegant.
Nanum 14 Nov, 2016 @ 9:05am
Sector governors don´t get exp und lvl´s.
kinngrimm 11 Nov, 2016 @ 7:27am
is it possible this mod permits my Empire Leader to gain XP? I do not have another mod isntalled which would influence Leaders otehr then this one and in my last game my leader did not gain XP over time, which was the same with the faction leaders which were his opponets in elections, but as long such would not lead the empire i'd think they would not have an opportunity to get XP ^^
tolaburke 5 Nov, 2016 @ 8:38pm
...But the original mod still works. Hell, I have it.
Morhe  [author] 3 Nov, 2016 @ 10:26pm
I've been toying with doing that for a while now. Might take a crack at it next time I have an hour or two free.

Is there a way you can leave the silver stars there on level 6 but just turn the 1st star gold? e.g. level 6 has 1 gold star followed by 4 silver stars. I think that seems like a slightly more intuitive way to display levels.
Azure Skye 31 Oct, 2016 @ 10:09am
well made, no side effects noted yet, seems to be well balanced.
Gerishnakov 30 Oct, 2016 @ 3:53pm
@Silver Knight It works just fine :)
Dustreaper 30 Oct, 2016 @ 11:29am
Does this owrk with update 1.3.1? it says it's outdated. But 1.3.1 was a really small patch.
BurningTemplar 29 Oct, 2016 @ 1:35am
Can you make a version that works for all leaders except the military ones please?
The Bush 28 Oct, 2016 @ 1:36am
Alright, thanks!
Morhe  [author] 28 Oct, 2016 @ 12:32am
It should be fine to load on an existing save. You might not be able to load a save that used it after it's removed, though.
The Bush 28 Oct, 2016 @ 12:10am
Can this mod work with games in progress?
SirTristanYT 26 Oct, 2016 @ 2:21pm
Hi Morhe! This mod has been highlighted as a part of the Weekly Mod Spotlight video series. You can check out the video here: Episode 17: The Leaders We Need! Please feel free to link to this video from the mod if you want people to see your work in video form. Thanks!

@Peter34
Poorly explained? It literally just raises the leader skill level cap. That's it.

The XP requirements for gaining levels have not been touched: The same exponential xp requirements apply, and work past skill 5. Add to that the fact that it applies to all empires in the game, and the practical "balance" effect is that long-lived species reach skill 6 or 7 instead of hanging out at rank 5 for the later half of their life. I think you're worrying a fair bit more about it's effect on game balance than you need to.

Either way, it was a mod that a lot of people used and a fair few were asking for an update to, so here it is.
Knight 'Pink from the Outset' 24 Oct, 2016 @ 6:44pm
Dunno if you knew this or if you accounted for it, but while it would give more chances for a trait gain, a leader can only gain one trait in their lifetime. When it happens it sets a flag that disables it happening again.
Peter34 24 Oct, 2016 @ 5:10pm
This mod is really poorly explained. I decide which mods to use based on my ability to predict whether they'll add fun and nuance to the game without disrupting balance, but there is woefully insufficient information about exactly what this mod does, to enable me to decide.

For instance, has game balance been considered AT ALL, based on the possibility of species starting with lifespan-lenthening Traits?

I like the idea of a slightly higher skill cap than 5, but I think it needs to be done right, with great attention to detail and overall game balance.
Morhe  [author] 23 Oct, 2016 @ 10:18pm
Adds more chances for them to gain traits on levelup, and scales the ordinary effects of levels (such as the 2% research speed per level on scientists).
Nana 23 Oct, 2016 @ 9:41pm
so what does increased level do
Fork You 23 Oct, 2016 @ 4:17pm
Yeah. :steamhappy:
