@The Running Man Unfortunately they are still broken. They changed something which caused the textures to break. Some of my newer units which I haven't released yet are affected too :( . I might find some workaround and I'll update them as soon as they are fixed.

in the vid it is just like the custom battle of inf. v pukle guns where the playe rused only puckle guns to take on the infantry he lost of corse but he only did it and took it just to demonstrate the power of those things.

Hey man, cool mod. I'm a ogre player on tabletop, and I just wanted to say that leadbelchers actually use their cannons like shotguns by loading human swords, spear, axes etc into the cannon. Still kickass mods m8atey and I cant wait to see an ogre horde maurauding across the map. (Also on a sidenote while I'm here their great cannon is also uses like a shotgun but using many, many cannonballs. woe betide the fool to run into that)

@jaredmw100 Ogres actually work for the Empire very frequently as mercenaries - at the least just as often as with greenskins

Very impressed that you were able to make them look this close to tabletop using only the game files, good work. One question though why would they be in the Empire? Obviously the Ogre Kingdoms aren't in the game yet but I would think of anyone it would be Orcs who got them

Hello Haradrim, good work introducting some big fellas to the game. I wonder if there is any way to make them recruitable by the southern humans as well? It makes a lot of sense considering Dogs of War / their mercenary usage and business down there.

@Mechavelli (Great username btw) Yeah it's maybe a bit too long so I'll increase it slightly but above all they should indeed be better in melee. I'll soon revisit this mod ,but for the moment I have my hands full with the tomb king roster (which is almost finished). After I finish the tomb kings I will fully focus on the ogre kingdoms with some little side projects as well.

Hey man, would you consider lowering their reload time since it takes so long? Maybe decrease their damage or something but they're not very fun to use if they fire every 20 seconds.

I really like these guys so far - but I will say, I kinda feel like their melee weapon damage is a bit too low considering their reload is so slow, their range is short and their unit-size is as small as it is. It doesn't necessarily have to be as high as the Bulls, but they are still ogres after all (For sake of reference, their melee damage is lower than handgunners)

@Haradrim Great choice for gut plate, considering we can't upload unload anything. What unit does that belt come from? It looks dwarvish.

When you get to the ironguts, the difference would be the large two-handed weapons, addiational armor like helmets, armguards, sabatons, and of course, iron gut plates.

The iron guts aren't even necessarily bigger than the other ogres in their tribe, they just got the best gear from the loot pile. The ranks and tribes of ogres aren't as visually distinct as the greenskins.

@Benjen they are used by several factions, like Empire, Chaos & Greenskins, either as mercenary, slave, or they're just there for the fighting. But there's also a whole ogre faction called "Ogre Kingdoms", it's quite a bit to the east from our current map, we'll probably see it at some point!

Aight ! I worked out some new gut plates let me know what you think ! If people like them I will work out some more variants and add them to this mod and the ogre bull one.

@efd731 These meant to correlate with the size of ogres in the Warhammer world, they don't approach Cygor sizes. There role in an army is hard hitting gunpowder infantry, not artillery, or monsters that can bash down a gate.

@Bonzai101 It has something to do with shaders I think. If you zoom out it uses a different shader that doesn't support alpha layers hence the hair popping up. I have the same problem with some of my other units and I'm trying to figure out a fix.

@Demon Spider I will probably do a chaos version too ,because some people have been asking for one. You can add those to your chaos divided mod if you like them.

@Rabbi Friedman If I have enough units I might do a seperate faction ;)

hmm, that zoom issue is a strange one, I thought it would be a imposter model issue but somehow it still defaults to the slayer when zoomed out........ probably setup as a default in some obscure table. Great work anyway!
