Where is the free version?
Probably wouldn't be a really hard request to fulfill if you really want the sound of water to be added to it.
I initially planned on having a button to create a fresh profile, but then I added a duplicate button which basically does the same thing but gives you a known starting point. And you actually can't delete all profiles, because you can't delete the last one :)
I already added the slideshow randomization to my todo list, so I will add that at some point.
I already noticed they shared the same profiles (I deleted one to see what would happen), and premade some duplicates to keep my favorite ones intact while I was fiddling around with the settings. But on this topic, may I suggest adding in a button to just simply create a fresh profile that is either selected from a preset, or randomly generated? I'd hate to think what would happen if someone accidentally deleted all profiles.
The concept of randomly picking from each profile for the slideshow does intrigue me though. Seeing as the customization allows one monitor to stay static and another to go into slideshow, I could easily keep my current fave profile constantly running on one, and just let another to perform just as you say. Plus, it would probably be good practice to keep your coding sharp to do so ;3
WaterFlow actually doesn't save profiles per monitor, so when you edit the profiles on both monitors at the same time you most likely overwrite changes you did previously :/
If you created new profiles (duplicate) on either monitor they will be available on all monitors once you restart the wallpaper though.
If you did changes to the first 3 profiles on both monitors and you still have it running right now, I suggest to create duplicates of these 3 to make sure they weren't overwritten by the other one.
Your idea was to have something different on every screen instead of using the stretch option, right? I could add a random option to the slideshow (right now its in order) plus a randomized interval, so each monitor would display a different profile most of the time.
This would also have the advantage that you can enjoy all profiles on every monitor while still having that variety.
I personaly only have small parts of either monitor's desktop displayed at any given time, with many windows and tabs open on both. This makes most animated wallpapers rather lackluster for me, but this particular case was just what I needed.
After extensive customizing both monitors as seperate waterflows (cause variety is nice), no matter how I move about my windows and tabs, there is always something nice and relaxing behind all of my work.
One thing of note, not sure if it's a bug, intended, or nothing of concern, but since i use waterflow as two seperate wallpapers on my two monitors, instead of one extended display... when i hold down the mouse, it opens two seperate option menus, one on each screen. Both operate properly and alter just the side I'm working on while sharing saved profiles, but i just figured it may be something that may need a note.
