Very nice!! I spent 10 minutes building a staircase in the caged room after the windowed corridor, until I realized I could shoot a portal through the barriers!!! This is what happens when you play too much half life...

They say momentum is conserved between portals, yet I read somewhere that Hooke's law somehow became a side focus when dealing with portal hovering....

To get to the stairs I portaled onto the angled ledge from a portal on the floor that was placed to allow close proximity to the stairs. Then, with my "back" to the wall I jumped up and forward shooting a portal on the floor as I fell. I shot out of the previously placed floor portal and strafed onto the stairs. I'm no expert at "ninja" moves yet I managed to gain access to those stairs on the first try. Is that a clear enough explanation?

Ah no I get it! You need to go to the other room and block the lasers with the barrel. btw. these panels going through the lasers were a nice hint. very subtle!

By "repeating the flings" do you mean putting a portal on on the diagonal wal and another one on the floor, then jump into the portal ion the floor, and every time you fling out of the diagnal prortal you place a new portal on the floor to fall into and gain height that way? I can see it now, but didn't when I played it. Trouble is I'm rubbish at aiming while I'm in the air and I can never turn quick enough. So I'm really sorry but had to cheat and I really hate cheating. that's the only place where i did cheat though.

Nice map, well made and lit. Great visuals, great use of momentum. In that vertical piston room I found that a simple single fling off the angled ledge was enough to get onto the stairs. Thanks for your work.

I am sorry that you felt that way. Please correct me if I misunderstand you: It is intented that you reach the stairs in that room by repeating the flings, gaining more and more momentum each time. (see the video at about 5:30)

it looks very nice, and I can see you took time and put a lot of effort in to this, it's very good, but the room with the pistons that go up and down is serioisly flawed. I understand I need to do a diagonal fling from the angled wall to get to the office at the top of the broken stairs, but theres just no way to do that. I can't even get back to any other place in the map where could do a long fall, and place another portal at the bottom while falling and fling out of the angled wall that way, whith i think is the way to do it but I just can't get beck.

Map looks beautiful. I didn't see an easy way to get past the pipes. It gave anxiety thinking about jumping from extreme hieghts just to try to find a path :(

In Hammer, there's an instance called "global_pti_ents" or something like that. If you trigger it, it ends the map and brings up the dialogue.

Awesome map! The ambiance was cool and the puzzles were fun. The one problem was that the PTI voting dialogue didn't show up at the end of the map.
