Ran this one again today. It really is a great run. So much is going on with AI traffic and scenery. It's really a pleasure to run this. But, again I got an incomplete. Oh well. Still enjoyed it again.

Yeah the 100mph "go via" is a newbie mistake in some of my earlier scenarios.

This is a great scenario and I really enjoyed it. But as previous commenters have put, I got a "Scenario incomplete" at the end.

I opened up the scenario in editor to see if you had planted a hidden task in there. There wasn't but I did see in the "Go via" destinations you set the speed to 100mph. I asked another friend about this as I wasn't too sure myself but not doing the designated speed on a go via instruction will result in failing the instruction. Between Bristol and Pilning you can never achieve 100mph.

But don't worry, I made mistakes as well when I made my first scenarios and I keep them to remind myself of how far I have got.

This one is still remarkable with its AI traffic though and I hope to see more scenarios from you :steamhappy:

Hi Purno, I have just completed this fabulous scenario. Plenty of traffic, historic, regular and freight trains running. Ireally enjoyed the trip. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes to you & your family. :steamhappy:

Really a great run. But, I too got the incomplete message at the end. Not sure why. I made all of my stops early and everything ran smoothly. Great AI too.

COOL MERCI DE CE SCENARIO
Purno  [author] 20 Mar, 2017 @ 10:02am
Could be I made some newbie mistakes. This was only my 4th scenario after all...
keith.stroud.52 19 Mar, 2017 @ 2:56pm
I really enjoyed this scenario, there was a lot going on and great AI, I also had the Scenario incomplete at the end although I was a couple of minutes early at all the stops. Never mind, just means I will have to run it again. Thanks for your efforts.
Regards, Keith.

Glad you liked it. The positive feedback is good motivation to keep on making scenarios, so thanks for all the comments! :)

a good trip, Ai and signals all ok. many thanks...........
Boesjkie17 14 Oct, 2016 @ 7:41am
Yeah i know they are little details so no problem i enjoyed the scenario anyway ;-)
Purno  [author] 13 Oct, 2016 @ 9:44am
I don't know how signals are exactly handled. I plan departure of my AI so the player gets the best view (e.g., train enters a station or leaves a station when the player waits for passengers to board). Some trains may be stationary. You're not supposed to look at tiny details like AI signals ;)
Boesjkie17 12 Oct, 2016 @ 1:09pm
Liked the scenario! Only i thing i was thinking of was why the AI stand still infront of a green signal. But otherwise really loved it.

Glad you liked it! :)

Great scenario with excellent AI. Bit puzzled by Scenario Incomplete though, but I enjoyed it all the same.

It has just occurred to me, I did save half way through as my telephone rang, and I wonder whether that may have resulted in the "incomplete" message. In future I must take the phone off the hook when playing ts!! :)
Purno  [author] 7 Oct, 2016 @ 11:12pm
I don't know what exactly triggers a "scenario incomplete" message, but don't let it spoil the fun ;)
chris5012 7 Oct, 2016 @ 10:53pm
Very well done. An excellent scenario with very varied AI trains to add a lot of interest. One point, I did get a "scenario incomplete" at the end although the final screen showed 4/4 tasks completed with the only fault being one bit of speeding.

Nice Job! Love the idea of blending good old duffs with coradias.
Purno  [author] 6 Oct, 2016 @ 10:13am
Ah, you have an eye for detail. Good point, I did not notice. Since there doesn't seem to be a way to update workshop scenarios, I think I won't fix this. But it definately is something to keep in mind when creating new scenarios. Thanks for your feedback! :)

Nice scenario. Agree about the timings.
One thing to note though if you use this route and the C 175 again. There is one that approaches Severn Tunnel station as you are picking up and two that are leaving Cardiff as you approach, none of them have drivers in the front cab. They are in the rear one. Looks odd. You have to be careful and put them the right way round when placing as AI as they have only been programmed with a driver at one end.

I got The LADY now, and and try to do my best along the west Rhein. The french part with her, will be the Abendessen ( Dinner):steamhappy:
Purno  [author] 5 Oct, 2016 @ 9:11am
Glad you like it :) I can personally recommend the BR266. I love that engine :)
Paulokomo 5 Oct, 2016 @ 3:45am
Congratulations ! Another delightful szenario ! Think I ll buy Br 266 to play your french freight szenario !
Purno  [author] 4 Oct, 2016 @ 9:40am
Glad you liked it. I like to time AI trains so the player gets the best view, which is why timetabled stopping services are the most ideal (since a player cannot get ahead of schedule too much). IMO the timetable in this scenario is actually pretty loose, when testdriving I arrived 2 or 3 minutes early at Severn Tunnel Junction and Cardiff. The scenario maker didn't let me make the timetable narrower though. It's useful feedback that you think the timetable is just about right. :)
Barrie 4 Oct, 2016 @ 6:05am
Thank you for a great scenario, great Al, timings just right enabling both enjoyment of the drive and the chance for a "Scenario Complete" at the end. Far too many scenarios have such unrealistic timings that a few seconds late at a point and an X and "Scenario Incomplete" spoil the drive.
