ordinator is the one you are thinking of @MaddieMonster143
The.Little.Helen.That.Could 7 Feb, 2017 @ 3:56pm
I can't remember what it's called, but there is a mod that splits the speech tree into three different parts and adds shout perks as well as the ability to gain exp from successful shouts. It won't work with this mod.
Keukotis  [author] 7 Feb, 2017 @ 10:01am
@HelenChris0704
No. I didn't do that with this mod so that it wouldn't conflict with any mods that change shouts, including other mods that do add experience for shouting.
The.Little.Helen.That.Could 7 Feb, 2017 @ 1:50am
does this mod allow shouts to add exp to the speech skill?
ok 5 Nov, 2016 @ 1:38pm
the yeilding is useless just use pacify or paralyze but i do have a idea for a new build now thanks
Keukotis  [author] 24 Sep, 2016 @ 9:52pm
I haven't tried it against Miraak, but it'll work on Mercer. Be aware that quests don't update without actually killing, though.
Monarch Laciel 24 Sep, 2016 @ 9:02pm
Does this work against bosses like Mercer Frey or Miraak?
Keukotis  [author] 8 May, 2016 @ 3:50pm
Is the file itself in your data folder? It may be failing to download correctly through the Workshop. You can just downloading from the Nexus page instead if that is the case.
PaperLightning 8 May, 2016 @ 10:54am
the mod simply doesnt manifest, there is no error message, i just start the game and its simply not there after i subscribed to it.
Keukotis  [author] 8 May, 2016 @ 3:59am
It's always worked for me and still does. Simple saying "it doesn't work" gives me no information on what might be going wrong. Mod conflict? Workshop failing to download? Aliens abducting the files? I really don't know what the issue could be on your end. I understand the frustration if you don't either, but I'm not sure how to help.
xbot668 3 May, 2016 @ 11:09pm
I don't seem to be able to use this either. I really hope this gets fixed. I hate killing those who don't realize that someone who can throw fire and control the weather is going to kill them.
PaperLightning 24 Mar, 2016 @ 6:20pm
It dun work x2
Rumpetroll 17 Mar, 2016 @ 2:19pm
it dun work
AjaxSawdy 7 Mar, 2016 @ 5:48pm
@SushiSquid This mod is great! Thanks for giving me a great reason to invest in speech again! It's my favorite thing to build up in RPGs because of how often cool dialogue and plot gets hidden behind speech checks, and stacking price discounts can often break economys, which is also alot of fun! Yet in skyrim, this used to be one of the three dumbest trees to invest into, between its lack luster performance and being insanly hard to level up. (Does anybody even use the lockpick tree? And how bout that alchamy tree amiright? LAME!)

P.S. Be A Bard, Break the world! ;D
Keukotis  [author] 7 Mar, 2016 @ 2:16pm
I'm actually really happy to hear when people like this so much. Heck, it looks like Bethesda must have seen it, because some of the Charisma perks in Fallout 4 perform strikingly similar to what I made here. I mostly make mods for myself and then just release them for others to use, so often I don't particularly care about their reception. But this one was a special project I spent more time working on and updating. It's nice to see that people like it so much.
devangel333 6 Mar, 2016 @ 10:45pm
Alright I'll be honest I haven't even tried the mod yet, but you get a MAJOR prop for creativity and utility focus here. Especially supplying something that is not even an afterthought in RPGs to boot.
AjaxSawdy 6 Mar, 2016 @ 10:20pm
Yup its official.

I cannot play skyrim without this mod anymore. Nope.
Especially when paired with Be a Bard, because then I can play the flute and drums to build up speachcraft.

Awesome!

Now if only there was a mod that made investing in the lockpicking tree worth it....
AjaxSawdy 24 Feb, 2016 @ 8:41pm
shout cooldowns are shorter AND I can convince people to yield AND I can actually level up the skill without buying it?

I am so totally in!:steamhappy:
Savage Salty Dad 14 Feb, 2016 @ 12:50pm
so this doesnt have any issues at all?
good job man
DeoxysDominator 3 Dec, 2015 @ 11:49am
Got this mod, didn't even know I had it, so well made thought it was part of the game
Cousin Okri 25 Aug, 2015 @ 11:15am
And they say Speech is a dump stat. Now i've got to respec (mod) and give Speech the attention it deserves. Thanks!
LoneWolf_NLD 14 Aug, 2015 @ 2:06am
Max pls
zman2748 8 Aug, 2015 @ 12:36pm
alright its working now thanks!
Keukotis  [author] 8 Aug, 2015 @ 8:27am
Make sure the game launcher has downloaded and activated this mod. If it has, you have another mod that's overriding these changes.
zman2748 8 Aug, 2015 @ 5:58am
Im subscribed but my skill tree hasnt changed
JolanXBL 5 May, 2015 @ 11:36pm
Worked before but now the launcher keeps saying this has an error then shuts it off :(
TheDeadDude 30 Apr, 2015 @ 6:09am
Does this mod still work with the paid mod patch? Btw you should add a donation link i really love this mod, Been using this mod since i posted in 2012 and i feel i should support you.
biltart_clorn 1 Nov, 2014 @ 10:52am
I would like to make a suggestion to you. it will be rather obvious after I elaborate. You should add a master level perk called" diplomacy." It allows you to talk your way into an additional follower. It would only be useful tp purists who only use one. I don't know if there are any besides myself any longer.
The Dark Gremlin ♣™ 28 Oct, 2014 @ 2:18pm
how do i use honeyed words and does it work on bandits?

CaptainPankek 13 Oct, 2014 @ 3:11pm
:falkwreath: Falkwreathan seal of approval!
GilgaMocha 19 Sep, 2014 @ 5:03am
I was skeptical when I saw the description, but looking at how it all comes togther, I'm going to give it a try. Thanks for the mod. =)
Keukotis  [author] 9 Sep, 2014 @ 6:52pm
This mod does not add experience for shouting. I like the idea, but doing so requires editing the shouts themselves, and I wanted to make this more compatible with other mods that might do that. That does mean that this will not conflict with a mod that just adds experience for shouting.
illbroswaggins 8 Sep, 2014 @ 3:02pm
Does shouting give exp?
DeviantTechnq 20 Jul, 2014 @ 11:42pm
Damn mate, you have some good titles for the perks.
Rarely may I find somebooty who knows what's best for the lore.
Pyne 24 Apr, 2014 @ 7:45am
the gaurd talks about my honeyd words but nothing happens in the tree
Fortunata 9 Apr, 2014 @ 8:35pm
This looks very useful! I was considering making a character who preferred conversation to combat, and it seems your mod is the answer to my dilema of how to play non-lethal in skyrim.
Keukotis  [author] 30 Dec, 2013 @ 7:11pm
Delete:
YieldSystemMarkerEffect
YieldSystemFinisherEffect
YieldSystemMarkerSpell
YieldSystemFinisher
YieldSystemQuest
YieldSystemIMOD
YieldSystem
HoneyedWords
YieldSystemSuccessMessage
YieldSystemAnimalMessage
YieldSystemFailureMessage

I do not believe those should affect anything else if you remove them, but I don't make any promises about it. =/

Also, if you'd like to remove the Merciful perk that allows you to accept enemy yields, delete:
MercifulStopCombatEffect
MercifulNoHeal
MercifulCloakEffect
MercifulAura
MercifulCloak
Merciful

Again, that shouldn't affect anything else negatively, but I can't be totally sure about that, so I'd suggest you make a backup before editing in the Creation Kit (or just deleting with TES5Edit).
Mephisticles 30 Dec, 2013 @ 3:39pm
Thanks for your help! I really do want to use this mod! Is there an easy way to strip the yield system out in CK? Or what do you suggest? Thanks.
Keukotis  [author] 30 Dec, 2013 @ 1:53pm
There are scripts, but they're attached to the perks, so they only run when activated by you. Conditionals for when to run those scripts are native. If you did want to strip the yield system out, you could do that, but because it won't be affecting performance, can be ignored if you don't want it, and adds a useful new mechanic for those that do want it, I will not be.
Mephisticles 29 Dec, 2013 @ 1:13pm
Yes, but I don't like messing with code when its unnecessary. Not to mention reports of flashing and FPS issues. Is there a way to make a version without it? Or is it entwined with the rest fo the mod and would be too complicated to remove?
Keukotis  [author] 29 Dec, 2013 @ 12:39pm
I didn't mess with the yielding system. I added an entirely new system that you can completely ignore if you want to. The yielding this adds is entirely optional. Just forget it's even there if you don't want to use it.
Mephisticles 28 Dec, 2013 @ 9:09pm
Can you please make a version that does't mess with any yielding system? I want a simple revamp of the speech and yours was gonna be it till I got to the yielding weirdness. Thanks.
Keukotis  [author] 23 Dec, 2013 @ 2:24pm
@Charlemagne
It means that you're yielding. You can accept enemy yields with the Merciful perk.
Charlemagne 23 Dec, 2013 @ 1:21pm
Does this yield ability mean I yield, or invite the enemy to yield?
Heroic Ryan 17 Dec, 2013 @ 3:54pm
k thx
Keukotis  [author] 16 Dec, 2013 @ 9:24pm
@Fat Fluffy Switchblade Duck
"Yielding opponents" can be activated only if they're either bleeding out or under 20% health, and you've got Merciful. You can yield by blocking/aiming a bow/readying a spell and activating the target. You'll know you've attempted a yield if the screen flashes green. If your character is ever bleeding out, it's because you've been set as essential. In the base game, this only ever happens during a brawl. My mod does not ever do it, but another you have might.
Heroic Ryan 16 Dec, 2013 @ 3:21pm
i cant activate yielding oopnents, and can we yield? i kind of confused, and i dont know if this is from your mod but when i die, instead of dying i go into a downed bleed out stage and nothing happens
Helbringr 25 Nov, 2013 @ 11:10pm
cheers :D i think im going to sub and fav all your mods :P
