Hello, it is possible that you can bring the Mod Doors and Windows to run again. I like it very well but unfortunately no longer under the rubric:
Exclude from all programs.
Would be very pleased if you would make the MFG Lord Acer

*** As of May 9, 2017 this is a LEGACY mod. It likely does not work with version 0.5, or newer versions that come afterward. It will only work on older branches of the game that you download from Steam. NOT the latest branch. ***
DarkLinkX5 23 Jan, 2017 @ 8:18pm
all the models are off center leaving a gap on one side.

Awesome thanks!

Hey BH. The building system for mods got all messed up when the new Research system came in. For now there really is no research to do for these doors -- you can make them immediately when you start a new world. Once the devs fix this, I'll go back and fix up the system so that you need research in order to make these.
Samb95500 22 Jan, 2017 @ 2:32pm
Cant seem to get the research blueprint to work in survival. Same way i leanred all of the other research parchments doesn't work with this door research parchment. Am i doing something wrong?

Super addition!!
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 21 Oct, 2016 @ 12:01pm
Keen's new key/lock system works in my door mod perfectly. You can allow/refuse players or clans. It's pretty seamless & cool.
KilledJoy 18 Oct, 2016 @ 5:26pm
Will a actual lock system be able to be implemented it looks like there is some kind of "key system" in the vanilla gate blocks.?
alan.warren3 27 Sep, 2016 @ 6:16am
Thanks, I had just found him.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 27 Sep, 2016 @ 5:36am
He's the one who made the other set of doors: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=766857004

I'm back again, sorry. I cant find anything about Uohcnam is this spelling correct?
thomas-schroeder1 27 Sep, 2016 @ 4:08am
hello, i love this mod <3
but i have a problem.
if the building collaps and fall whis this mod, all the furniture go outside witout collision with the walls or floor :(
sorry my bad english, i hope yue know what i mean^^
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 26 Sep, 2016 @ 5:13am
Thanks very much alan! Keep an eye on Uohcnam's. He's just made metal doors that have accurate collision models. You can use them as prison doors and shoot through them! And it's funny you mention the trap door. I've got that in mind too. The problem is that right now there's no way to activate it "accidentally." It would be great if we could find a "trigger" where if you step on it, it opens up. As it is, you have to actively click to open it.
alan.warren3 26 Sep, 2016 @ 4:06am
Just to say thanks for one of the bests mods in the game, Your doors are the greatest and easiest to use. They transform the game. The shutters are great, I'm loving them and am having to convert all my older constructions.
I'm trying to convert one to a trapdoor, I have managed but it is not really practical, perhaps it is something that can be done in your mod.
DiegoKevin 25 Sep, 2016 @ 12:30pm
Totally agree, I do not want to be forced to have a humongous door just to protect the stuff on a little keep I want to make, or just to build a dinky clang prone door out of wood and big catch block to protect the little logging house out in the willies.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 25 Sep, 2016 @ 12:25pm
I agree DiegoKevin. I'm psyched to have figured out how to put a version of them in the game. I hope a lot of players will get good use out of these.
DiegoKevin 25 Sep, 2016 @ 11:05am
So very needed.
Rubber Sword 25 Sep, 2016 @ 8:44am
I know Yliroe (he of the arrow slit mod) was talking about putting arrow slits in merlons so he might be someone for you to contact
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 25 Sep, 2016 @ 5:35am
Thanks much Rubber Sword (I do need to adjust the texture on one wing so they're not mirror images). And very good point re the merlons, you're right! I don't know of anyone modding alternates; that could be very useful for a siege scenario.
Rubber Sword 25 Sep, 2016 @ 5:16am
STORI3D PAST - you mentioned producing mantlets, but I think the merlons need to be higher for them to be "right". Do you know of anyone who is modding alternative battlements?
Rubber Sword 25 Sep, 2016 @ 5:11am
Just tried your side opening shutters - brilliant. Very nice work.
Rubber Sword 24 Sep, 2016 @ 2:36pm
Gentlemen (and Ladies) I give you "Hoardings"
http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=769386132
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 24 Sep, 2016 @ 9:15am
Hah, you know, it would be neat to do something like that -- a billboard "hoarding" -- to keep score in some kind of castle war game. There's a row of billboards facing down. Each time you get a point, you click one and it rises, with a number like "1," "2," etc. Like our old pre-computer baseball stadium billboards.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 24 Sep, 2016 @ 9:10am
I might have time to make some variations. Maybe one that flips up 180 degrees vertical. (I'd like them all to look legitimate, not just hanging open in midair by magic!) Also, it might be possible to create a variety to use as "mantlets" between the merlons along a wall's top.
wolfgar7474 24 Sep, 2016 @ 8:59am
Oh i see i thought you were making a billboard which another definition of hoarding there is 3 definitions for that lol you meant these i bet http://dundjinni.com/forums/uploads/heruca/3ZC_Hoarding.jpg

wolfgar7474 24 Sep, 2016 @ 8:52am
Well i tried it and its close but the shutter doesnt quite open far enough unless Rubber Sword found another way.
wolfgar7474 24 Sep, 2016 @ 8:39am
Rubber Sword nice find they do look like hoardings. Too bad we don't have signs we can put on them.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 24 Sep, 2016 @ 8:38am
You're welcome! I had a hunch that this type of shutter mechanism would be most appropriate in a castle/defensive situation. Your idea for them as part of hoardings sounds perfect. If you put any together would you post a screenshot? I'd love to see how these are being used.
Rubber Sword 24 Sep, 2016 @ 7:26am
Vertical shutters make for perfect hoardings. Thank you so much
ja231c 23 Sep, 2016 @ 9:07am
@STORI3D I think it is possible, though it would require making a new animation and modifying mesh of the chair to make it possible to activate (I already modified that mesh, I could send it to you), it would most probably require some changes to the .sbc files.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 23 Sep, 2016 @ 7:20am
Thanks ja231c - and I agree! Hmm, I wonder if there's a way with what's in the game already...
ja231c 22 Sep, 2016 @ 10:07am
@STORI3D great mod! Now all we need are chairs we can actually sit on...
wolfgar7474 22 Sep, 2016 @ 9:22am
This is a great discovery for the game! Talking with other mod makers you can discover and create great things from working off each other. I think most of the time my over verbal display of excitement scares people away or i annoy them. I wish were more were like you STORI3D.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 22 Sep, 2016 @ 9:16am
I never would have stopped and thought about it if you hadn't brought it up. This is so cool. If you have some guy chasing you now, you can rush into your house, slam the door shut, throw something onto the floor, and the door's locked and you're safe. At least safe for a little while. I flipping love that.
wolfgar7474 22 Sep, 2016 @ 9:13am
You did this Bro! i was just reporting a bug lol!
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 22 Sep, 2016 @ 8:56am
Wolfgar, you actually just hit on something REALLY cool. To make the door lock, you just need to close it and then put any small dynamic object on the ground on the inside. The door becomes unopenable! It works just like a lock. Anyone inside their building can lock the doors and no one can get in without bashing the wall/door down! http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=767984300
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 22 Sep, 2016 @ 8:28am
I'll have a closer look and see if I can find doors that do and don't work, and why there's a difference. It just might be that there's a workaround in there somewhere!
wolfgar7474 22 Sep, 2016 @ 8:15am
Ya its working fine now. Sorry for this. The other doors were working in the same spot.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 22 Sep, 2016 @ 8:12am
Good luck! I just made a screenshot of the issue so others know about it. http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=767962096 Thanks for pointing it out. It's completely illogical that something loose on the back side will cause an issue. But that's just the way Keen built the code.
wolfgar7474 22 Sep, 2016 @ 8:09am
Ok i will. i was on my mod making map. ill test somewhere else.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 22 Sep, 2016 @ 8:07am
That "Something is in the way" problem is going to be a tricky one. It's part of the main "Wooden Gate" code that Keen wrote. Look on the other side of the door from where you think you should be looking. I had the same thing in one of my builds. Any dynamic/loose item that's within the large-block space on the back side (inside) of the door will make it get blocked. A loose iron bar, etc.
wolfgar7474 22 Sep, 2016 @ 8:03am
Hi STORI3D. New update looks great. I made sure they still work with my log cabin kit and they do. I tested one of your doors the arch with stone arch background and it say a object is in the way when you try to close. I had nothing but the stone archway there. Just wanted to let you know this was happenening. Thanks for these great doors!
Protocore 21 Sep, 2016 @ 2:08pm
i try your work nearly
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 21 Sep, 2016 @ 11:57am
Thanks tons! I'm glad to be learning this stuff, I hope it's adding to people's fun with the game.
Coggernaut 21 Sep, 2016 @ 8:41am
Really great work man, It's awesome seeing how much work you've contributed to the game :)
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 18 Sep, 2016 @ 1:38pm
LOL. I do that about 5 times a day. I'm really glad it's working for you.
alan.warren3 18 Sep, 2016 @ 1:36pm
I asked a stupid question and have just realized the step I was missing, the software is great just what we have all needed. Thanks.
STORI3D PAST Productions  [author] 18 Sep, 2016 @ 7:10am
A follow-up. It's not just a simple positioning issue. ;) No way to just use the .sbc file to reposition for the 2-wide stone doorway without breaking other things. I'll have to go in and make fresh .mwm files for the offset. Won't be a huge deal but I probably won't get to it today. I still really want to get working window shutters in.
