Is it working with War of the chosen?

This was designed to use an initiative based system for cyberware. Please use our other Co-Op mod for XCOM 2.
Lewis 8 Jul, 2017 @ 10:48pm
What's the difference between this and the other co-op mod? (Tactical Co-op)
Tanix 6 Jul, 2017 @ 9:10pm
@Psychedelic Pepe
Isn't that what XCOM 2 Multiplayer is for?
Zandy man 6 May, 2017 @ 6:48pm
I would like to see something like the 1 player being the commander and can see the whole battle map and use support options for player 2 who is playing the combat map part. Like the commander could drop flares or scans to open the map, can mark enemies or objectives, a resupply crate to refill meds, rockets, nades, etc.. The commander would use a robot as his eyes and area of reach for powers. So if it gets destoryed he is blind and useless. Like in Zombie U I would love to see it co-op where one is the player the other is the prepper.
Uncle Taxfraud 27 Jan, 2017 @ 2:45am
Yeah. Like One Person controling XCOM, while someone else would control an elite team of ADVENT. I think it would be cool, but im not too sure its even possible
Quixotic Cloud Games  [author] 26 Jan, 2017 @ 2:13pm
@Uncle, I'm not even sure what a Versus Campaign is. Like someone is the aliens/advent?
Uncle Taxfraud 26 Jan, 2017 @ 1:04pm
Would Versus Campaign ever be possible?
CapDrago 16 Dec, 2016 @ 2:01pm
nice! I really want this mod to be:steamhappy: a success because I love playing with or against others and with the pc versions multiplayer being practiaclly empty this would be great!:steamhappy:
Quixotic Cloud Games  [author] 16 Dec, 2016 @ 11:05am
We're actually working on Match-making right now, so follow us on twitter.
CapDrago 15 Dec, 2016 @ 10:51pm
Will this ever allow random people to play together. if your a developer I would love to know, but I understand there might be some non-disclosure stuff so I would understand if you couldn't.
Quixotic Cloud Games  [author] 23 Nov, 2016 @ 8:38am
Lol, Well, we're working on bringing it back. Please make sure to sign our petition here: https://www.change.org/p/firaxis-make-dragonpunk-allow-a-kickstarter-campaign

if only they made coop form start this game be still alive today. great job keep it up
Beornvig 16 Nov, 2016 @ 9:57pm
Ok gotya, thanks! I'll wait.
Quixotic Cloud Games  [author] 16 Nov, 2016 @ 8:31pm
@Beornvig The tactical Co-Op mod is in Beta so 50/50??? Honestly, we'll probably always be doing iterative bug fixes once we go Gold. If you really don't want to play the single player at all and are really JUST interested in playing Co-Op, I'd wait for this mod to go Gold. Just being honest, but the single player IS really good.
Beornvig 16 Nov, 2016 @ 7:30pm
Is this mod still undergoing iterative bug fix releases, or it fully functional at this time? I have been waiting on buying XCom to see how this mod goes, and I can't get a feel for how mature this is from the comments here, or the DP Twitter. Many thanks!
Quixotic Cloud Games  [author] 5 Nov, 2016 @ 6:24pm
Nope! Definitely want to play our latest release of Tactical Co-Op here: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=792693587

We're going to make this specifically for the recovery turn system for Shadowrun fans!
Justus Lynetta 5 Nov, 2016 @ 6:19pm
Fully functional as of now?
Quixotic Cloud Games  [author] 25 Oct, 2016 @ 11:45am
@Smudge Thank you! Might hold off for just one more week until we post this last major update.
Smudge 25 Oct, 2016 @ 7:30am
@Team Dragonpunk Im about to try out the mod with a friend, just to let you all know i think your doing a fantastic job, keep up the great work! :D Also really looking forward to the fantasy style mod your doing with magic.
Quixotic Cloud Games  [author] 21 Oct, 2016 @ 2:34pm
@D2thac we aren't going to push updates until this Sunday, so no need to test this weekend. Thank you though!
D2thac 21 Oct, 2016 @ 12:53am
@Team Dragonpunk No worries mate, happy to help. We're going to give another go over the weekend and will record our games for you guys if that helps. Cheers.
Quixotic Cloud Games  [author] 20 Oct, 2016 @ 3:35pm
@D2thac Fantastic documentation, thank you! I can verify that we've never gotten these errors before, so it may take some time to replicate and fix. Still, I've added these to our JIRA backlog, so we can begin. Please let me know when you make it through a 2 player Co-Op mission. Thank you again!
D2thac 20 Oct, 2016 @ 6:38am
@EladDv & @Team Dragonpunk. Thanks for the recent replies to our posts, appreciate the quick support. Dr.Zaius and myself have been conducting several tests tonight trying a few different scenarios and have hopefully been able to provide you with some useful information to assist in fixing some of the issues we're experiencing. As the information i had was quite long, i've posted it all in the bug reporting section for you to view. Let me know if you need me or Dr.Zaius to try or test anything else. If you're interested. i'm allso happy to directly host a member of your team if you believe that may help in seeing the issues if you're unable to recreate it yourselves. Let me know, cheers.
Dr.Zaius 19 Oct, 2016 @ 2:00pm
thanks @EladDv, we will give it another go later. We were both loaded into the save files but the client was generally just at the base screen and not at a mission party screen.
EladDv  [author] 19 Oct, 2016 @ 6:01am
Ok I know what's going on.
Dr. Zaius and D2thac, you're both not using the mod correctly, the "how to play" tutorial didnt mention it (and I'll be fixing it in a moment) but in newer versions in order to get the flickering bug fixed (though it was standard testing procedure from the start) you now both have to be on the squad select screen in order to get a successful connection (dosnt matter which mission the invited party is on just pick one).
Dr.Zaius 19 Oct, 2016 @ 4:51am
Both unsubscribed and resubscribed to mod, steam downloaded... same problem.

@Wewawa No need for a fresh XCOM 2 install lol, though just to be safe you may want to delete your Co-Op mod completely. This may be an error on our end since we're uploading from a different computer (can't imagine why that would happen but Steam can be odd). We're testing the Steam version now.
Tim 18 Oct, 2016 @ 9:48am
@Elad Yep, will submit logs and screenshots tonight. We always try testing this on fresh campaigns with no other mods active and no DLC active. Should we have any DLC active? Also, what OS is this confirmed working on? We're both running Windows 10. Finally, we don't need to try this on a fresh XCOM 2 install, right? Every time there's an update we just unsub and resub to get the newest version. Just want to confirm that's what you guys are doing too.
Quixotic Cloud Games  [author] 18 Oct, 2016 @ 9:38am
Dr. Zaius and d2thac, sounds like you have the old test version. Try unsubscribing and resubscribing please. It should work then.
Dr.Zaius 18 Oct, 2016 @ 2:41am
Tried playing wtih d2thac, still getting the same issue with it sending the client to the multiplayer squad creation screen... doesn't matter who hosts, happens to both of us.

EladDv  [author] 17 Oct, 2016 @ 11:11pm
It works internally. I don't know why you're experiencing those issues. I personally tested the current version and I didn't see any of the problems below, actual reports with multiple logs from both sides labeled accordingly and maybe screenshots or even videos are a much greater help than a 3 paragraph story about your experience. Sorry but that's the only way information is useful to me
Tim 17 Oct, 2016 @ 5:43pm
Back before these October updates, I was able to at least load into missions which were rendered unplayable by the flickering, turn timers, and annoyingly-long waiting periods between turns. Again, would love to see this one work, and am happy to continue testing (hopefully you guys can confirm it works internally first though!). Keep up the excellent service to the community. :) 3/3
Tim 17 Oct, 2016 @ 5:42pm
They don't get loaded to the multiplayer loadout menu anymore, but they get loaded to their own squad selection screen for a new mission with a different name than mine. They see their own four squadmembers to do with as they will. I don't get any indication that they actually loaded. If they launch the mission on their end, it kicks them back to the antfarm. If I launch the mission, I'm brought to an entirely black screen with sound of Bradford telling me about the objective. 2/3
Tim 17 Oct, 2016 @ 5:42pm
@Dragonpunk Still not working, still unable to load into a mission. When removing a soldier to check for the "Invite Friend" option, that option isn't there about half of the time. Exiting to and from geoscape a few times will make it show up, but it shows up for all four slots before any soldiers are even removed, along with the "Select Soldier" option. Even though it looks like all four soldiers are still loaded and standing behind the buttons. Removing one soldier and then hitting the "Invite Friend" option opens the dialog for creating the co-op server, and lets me invite my friend. 1/3
Fiernan 17 Oct, 2016 @ 12:46pm
I'm probably missing something, but does the mod work on mac? Just checking
Liranan 17 Oct, 2016 @ 10:25am
Thanks I have been looking forward to this for a while.
Quixotic Cloud Games  [author] 17 Oct, 2016 @ 10:21am
@Wewawa and @D2thac we just uploaded a fix thanks to the genius of @EladDv so let us know if it works. Sometimes regression errors do happen.

ALL: Please let us know if you still experience the "timer bug". It should work now, but it's a hard one to replicate.
Tim 16 Oct, 2016 @ 7:58pm
@Team Dragonpunk Same exact error as D2thac is getting. Seems like a pretty terrible regression. Do you guys mind sharing exactly what setup you use to test this internally and get it running? I've never had luck with it and am pretty eager to play.
D2thac 15 Oct, 2016 @ 7:30pm
@Team Dragonpunk i've pasted my launch logs, hope it helps. https://paste.ee/p/U98Ls#
Quixotic Cloud Games  [author] 15 Oct, 2016 @ 10:13am
@D2thac Thank you for testing! Would you please post the log, and we'll try to replicate this right now!
D2thac 14 Oct, 2016 @ 10:27pm
After being invited to a game, instead of loading into my friends select soldier screen, it's loading into the online multiplayer squad creation screen. If i attempt to exit it takes me back to main menu, meanwhile my friend is still sitting at his soldier select screen waiting. This also occurred for him when i tried inviting to my game.
Quixotic Cloud Games  [author] 14 Oct, 2016 @ 3:24pm
ALL: We just updated with a fix for the "Flickering bug" and "turn timer bug". Please help us test and let us know if they're fixed for you!

We're continuing to polish Co-Op, but we can't increase the player count to 6-12 players unless we get support from Firaxis (we don't have access to the native network code). Please sign the petition so we can take this mod to the next level!

Willy "Big John" Helldiver 13 Oct, 2016 @ 1:35pm
Heya. :). Would this work with Long War toolbox?
Cute 10 Oct, 2016 @ 6:04pm
Currently unplayable for me. When I get into a mission the entire screen is purple and it flickers purple/yellow/green constantly. Also during soldier select the areas where it shows soldier loadout is off centered. It was moved slightly to the right for some reason. Screenshot for reference: https://i.redd.it/zse9c8c9hlqx.jpg
SgtNoGlory 9 Oct, 2016 @ 10:27am
Just wondered how progress was going?
ShaungtpII 8 Oct, 2016 @ 1:13pm
so like the co op shit was cool but on any turn sensitive mission it counted as like 2 or 3 turns at random for me and my friend and we couldnt do the mission for it but this works pretty good for something that just came out
