if the weapon mod is compatible with xskins you can enable the "hide weapons and schematics" option in Xskins settings. if you do that dont forget to enable the "copy stats" too

Hi, i am very appreciated your mod as i am a huge fan of mass effect franchise, by the way i am having way too many weapon mods installed, is there a way just enable the reskin but not the item build, it is a bit hectic for me to scroll down and try to find something i want to build, thanks in advance

Sorry for the missing fix guys, but I have been really busy with real life stuff and to be perfectly honest the times I've actually had time to play around with the game I forgot about this again.. Will update this today

I'm not seeing the M98 Widow as a skin option, reading back it may be having the same problem as the Valiant did when it was updated.

That should be m8avg_mg and the other bm.. Not sure if that's the only problem though

Hey Obelix, so I can confirm that this mod is causing the M8 avenger rifle to show up as the highest tier, and somehow (I'm quite sure) messed with my additional missions with the resistance fighters having magnetic tiered rifles that weren't unlocked, unlocked.

I started 2 new games, with this mod active and then deactivated only this mod.

Apparently AoD_lexandro changed the template name for the valiant, i updated the mod to fix it so even if you dont have the original anymore you can still use the skin (hopefully)

Ok I'll have a look at the valiant's code when I come home to see if something has changed, and update if needed.. The load order should have nothing to say, as it showed up fine when I tested the mod initial testing

The valiant isn't showing up for me either, even when I manually added the valiant lines in, the xskins ini, it still doesn't show up :\

Could it have something to do with the load order??

just doublechecked.. all 4 weapons are activated in the script.. if you dont see the weap its not from this side.. sorry :/

It's an extra option thar has to be flipped on. Can set it via MCM or the .ini, if you aren't using MCM.

Because I'm pretty sure the skin system is supposed to hide the weapons so you could just switch the appearances in the Weapons Upgrade menu so things are cleaner

thx alot for making this :) i only really subscribe weapon mods if they are a part of the Xskin mod, and im a huge mass effect fan so this really made my day ;)

@The great garrus I have nothing to do with the weapons or the skins.. I JUST made the extra little script to let it "talk" with Robojumpers XSkins system mod.

@Ser Lancelot since I've set the XSkins mod as a requirement for this mod, I'll give you 2 guesses:) Also you need to actually download the weapon mods too for the skins to work.. Please read the description on what XSkins does., but I'll repeat myself for you:)
XSkins system makes it possible to customize weapons the same way you do with torso/arms/legs in soldier customization.. And before you ask, NO I have nothing to do with the other mods linked in here.. I ONLY made this little thing:)

Short answer : click the link to the mod and find out ;)

Long answer for the lazy : XSkins is a mod by Robojumper that allows for people to switch the "skin" of a weapon to another.. Kind of like what changing torso / arms / legs does in the customization menu for your soldiers.. Basicly it allows your vannilla weapons to change the model so you can use the custom weapons with all your upgrades remaininging
