Add this XComSkinSystem.ini file on any mods use that. Then it will work.
No the name is still the same so i dont know why it does not work for you

That should be m8avg_mg and the other bm.. Not sure if that's the only problem though
I started 2 new games, with this mod active and then deactivated only this mod.
Could it have something to do with the load order??

@Ser Lancelot since I've set the XSkins mod as a requirement for this mod, I'll give you 2 guesses:) Also you need to actually download the weapon mods too for the skins to work.. Please read the description on what XSkins does., but I'll repeat myself for you:)
XSkins system makes it possible to customize weapons the same way you do with torso/arms/legs in soldier customization.. And before you ask, NO I have nothing to do with the other mods linked in here.. I ONLY made this little thing:)

Long answer for the lazy : XSkins is a mod by Robojumper that allows for people to switch the "skin" of a weapon to another.. Kind of like what changing torso / arms / legs does in the customization menu for your soldiers.. Basicly it allows your vannilla weapons to change the model so you can use the custom weapons with all your upgrades remaininging
