it's not integrated into the game. Steam downloads the browser to c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\workshop\content\324810\760348160
Create a shortcut to ServerBrowser.exe and copy it to your desktop. That way you'll always run the latest version that gets updated through steam.

Version 2.42 should work now without that error on win7 systems
WolFeN 28 Nov, 2016 @ 10:36am
yes get the error screen.

"Forbidden
Access is denied. Retrying will not help. Please verify your
key=
parameter."

and no, no proxy and as i said checked the browser with all firewalls disabled (router and software firewall).
btw, the steam server browser works.

The timeout is set to 2 seconds. Are you using some sort of HTTP proxy or is anything else special about your internet connection?
Maybe something is blocking https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/IGameServersService/GetServerList/v1/?key=mysecretkey&format=xml&filter=id/324810&limit=100
Without the right key you'll get a Forbidden error screen, but it shouldn't be a timeout.

checked this with disabled FW´s. the message reads as follows:

error requesting server list from steam web api: timeout für vorgang überschritten

hope the german part even helps.

@Wolfen: I just uploded version 2.37. It shows a more accurate error message that will hopefully give us a clue why loading the list doesn't work on your PC.

Thx dude but it still doesent work. :o(
"master server request timed out"

Version 2.36 released to work with TOXIKK 1.0.5

@WolFeN: version 2.35+ contains a fix for that.

Much appreciated!! I will use this for other games with a server browser, again thank you very much! Haven't had a single problem with it. Just took me a minute to figure the layout of UI that's about it.

Fair enougn, I'll keep an eye on it.
It's just that's the first time I've seen a Workshop item including an .EXE while reading that's actually not possible. But well, I guess Valve doesn't care anyway.
PredatH0r  [author] 11 Sep, 2016 @ 7:40am
I am not aware if they were ever NOT allowed.
But you are right, .exe files from random people are a security risk.
My server browser is open source (but uses commercial UI components): https://github.com/PredatH0r/SteamServerBrowser
I have the same browser also in the QuakeLive workshop for a long time already. You can get it from there if you like, it has >1500 downloads there

I am a bit cautious.
Since when are .exe files allowed in the Steam workshop?
PredatH0r  [author] 11 Sep, 2016 @ 3:57am
Enter the game's Steam App ID (251570) in the "Game" field and click "Find Servers".

Nice, but how i can add the Game # 7 Days to Die # ?
taterskin 10 Sep, 2016 @ 9:45am
how do you use this and what does it do?
PredatH0r  [author] 8 Sep, 2016 @ 6:04pm
When you subscribe to this item, Steam will download it to
c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\workshop\content\324810\760348160
where you can find ServerBrowser.exe
Create a shortcut to it on your desktop and Steam will take care of any updates.
