Bit of an update today. Fixed the grimmy loot bug and added a patch for LW2 compatability. LW2 patch needs testing so if its broke or needs tweaking to match correctly just let me know.

Love the way the crusader looks, but looking at the stats only isn't it just a worse version of the shotgun?

@dTM I used E3245's extensive guide on adding weapons and items to Xcom2. Its my "bible" for maknig sure stuffs done properly.

How did you get the custom weapon into xcom? I have my own weapon model that i'd like to mod in, but I have no idea how to do it.

If you want to alter the information panel blurb, you can edit the localisation file to whatever you want on screen.

In the mods folder the is an INI config file to alter the weapon stats. If you change the values in the "weapon damage" section it should show in the UI.

I'm not sure where I would ask this question. I did a little modding of the damage values to match the mods I have been using, but the in-game text doesn't reflect the changed values. Is there an .ini file I would need to edit as well to get these values to show up in-game or is that impossible?

Yep the slug is in the description of the weapon. Its specifically a slug thrower instead of a scattergun.

Great mod but this shotgun seems to shoot a slug (IE one single projectile). Not my cup of tea for a shotgun but great work nonetheless!

I was watching crash course games and they were talking about steam and how people can create their own content. They do not explicitly mention you but they scroll over a bunch of user created content. You can see both your n7 crusader shotgun and mattock on there. The video has over 90,000 views. That sucks about the SMGs, would it be possible to choose another Mass Effect 3 weapon and make it into an SMG? I'm sure that'll upset some purists, but any new models for SMGs would be great.

Currently I am unable to add most of the SMG's from ME3 due to me not being able to correctly place hand positions for these weapons. I as yet dont have the ability to manipulate the games actor skeleton and weapon skeletons. Sorry. I really did try to do one, but it came out hideous.

Just like i predicted, it seems that if u use the mod while having already reserached another tier ull have to wait to research the next tier before u can research another tier for the n7 shotgun, i just got to plasma and it jumped to the 3rd tier n7 crusader skipping the 2nd tier. Idk if it would of been completely broken if i had already researched plasma when i installed the mod, would be an unfortunate scenerio.

Aye aye, think I got it. Amazing what some sleep and a coffee can do. Spotted that the schematic as missing the "CV" tag on the first upgrade.

Ok that suggests the schematic was fine, but it didnt add the weapon on completion. That gives me something to work with, and Ill give the code a good going over today.

i dont know, I did get the weapon in the build section of the engineering but then there wasnt a 2nd tier version so idk where its supposed to be or something is just not right, and im sad cause i really like the weapon, who knows maybe i have to research plasma for it to work ; /

Ok so range bug is defintely fixed. Getting range bonuses now on the displays.

Acadian - idk whats up mate. Gone over the code a few times and cant see anything amiss that would preclude it showing up in the weapon menu for purchase. Even if the weapon was broke you should at least get a schematic puchase option for a squad upgrade. And the schematic look fine so....idk.

Ah ok. Also, even if my soldier is adjacent to the enemy the hit % for the shot is still 68% which seems odd for a shotgun.
