It's largely specific and situational, basically it's a Player Coloring machine that switches between modes. So, if that ever comes in handy (like if you have a machine that checks for a player's color specifically) than you could assign different colors as "teams" and read off them to do whatever.
Weird that it's spawning without Wiremod entities! I'll double check that the dupe isn't 🅱️roke, but that aside my best advice is to double check you've got the Wiremod workshop addon and nothing wonky's going on with that.

How would you use this? When I spawn it in it is just a normal brick. The same thing happens with every other of these wire gamemode dupes.
