Awesome work. Not game breaking but definitely allows you to get more perks faster. This allows for my one character to be fairly decent at everything but magic. And it makes a good use fo the 80 dragon souls I have spare.

Mod is working fine but I can't change the cost to jus one soul with the set.ishperkcost to 1

@Dovahkiin!!! If you want souls, there are two easy ways. One is the more dragons series of mods here on steam, which will spawn dragons a lot more depending on which variation you get, or use the console command

"player.modav dragonsouls xxx" without quotes, x being number of souls you desire.

oh ffs what is with SKSE i'v seen modders do some really complex working functioning things without SKSE that is sorry that people think that is absolutely required for everything now.

i thought as much, on the .5. not sure i'd change it, anyway, just some thoughts i had on reading this, and thinking of others. so many use nice round numbers, which i understand and enjoy, like 5 or 10 dragon souls for one perk point. but a perk is a human thing, a skill change/add, which taken in a human life is relatively miniscule, as opposed to a dragon soul. creatures that live for a very, very, very, very long time. multiple human lives. which is the disparity that irks me, occasionally. never mind, sorry. just rambling a bit. cheers on the confirmation.

The dragons aren't ancient. They died ages ago and are being resurrected by Alduin. But, I think you're looking at it the wrong way. It's not that dragon souls are worthless, it's that a perk point is worth an entire level .

You can't set ishperkcost to 0.5. It can only be an integer. If you try, I suspect it will floor to 0.

just redoing my mods and going to try this out. but i have to wander.... if a dragon is so powerful and so old, even ancient, and lived for so very long, why does a soul give so little? if i set ishperkcost to .5 would i get 2 perks per soul? i don't mean to overpower things, but is a dragon soul really so worthless as to require 10 of them for a single, human perk??? just a thought i have when i see these mods around, and i do understand the desire not to overpower the game.

No... no no and no XD I have properly installed newest SKSE 1.5.11, I am standing toward dragon stone and command "set ishperkcost to 1" or 2 or 8 doesnt function. Console says Command unknown

Yes, actually, it IS SKSE.

it does not give perks, it takes the souls but doesnt give purks, and no its not skse its installed correctly and all the other mods requireing it works fine.

That's the Skyrim version, not the SKSE version. If that's all it says, then SKSE isn't running. Make sure you're running skse_loader.exe, and try running it as an admin.

If it's not giving you perks, you haven't installed SKSE correctly. What SKSE version is reported in the bottom-left of the menu when you press ESC?

I've done installation like in the video, when i go to the stone it takes gragon souls but it doesn't give me any perks :-(

finally, a good replacement mod for the scriptdragon version of this same type of mod. I don't like having a "stone" added, but this one is much better than the other one in that you can edit the perk price instead of spending more dragon souls for stronger perks. wtg!

Where do i install SKSE to?

My skyrim folder does not have a "Scripts" file in the Data section.

Oh! Then you haven't installed SKSE properly. Make sure you've installed SKSE's data/scripts folder in addition to the .dlls.

I don't understand the problem. You click five, so it gives you five, and now you don't have any souls left, so the only option is none.

nah the first time its okay i can decide between 1 and 5 but after when i clic on 5 it said something and the only possible answer is none, my dragon soul still disapeared

If the only possible answer is none, then you don't have enough dragon souls to purchase any perk points.
