@RedStar21 I get your point. I guess I might convert this mod when I have time to do so. See if I can find a solution for the sprinting animation without breaking balance.

@Guvenoren I get that, but I think it's plenty of fun to use personally. I just consider his size when it comes to how much ground he ends up covering. I've been able to get the running animation to trigger by bumping up his speed. As a result it does take Kholek a second to start running, but I justify it as like a "freight train" effect where he's so massive that he has to gain momentum before he can break into his sprint.

@RedStar21 I do fancy kholek too, but the fact that I have not found anything that will change his running animation trigger makes this mod not fun to use. Atleast in my opinion.

@Guvenoren Yeah that is a tiny bit frustrating since Radious modifies his table and overwrites your change. Radious changes his speed to 80 from 110, which I believe is your change. Thankfully it's an easy fix since you told me how to find it the Pack File Manager. Thanks for that by the way!

Anyway, I hope we see it in ME soon. It's such a small but awesome mod, since Kholek is one of my favorite LLs.

@RedStar21 Yeah, I could do that. Althought I never found out how to make his running animation trigger without increasing his movement speed. I was never truly satisfied with this mod as he got faster than a bloody pegasus.

Just to place as a note here,I have kind of "abandoned" this and the other Larger Kholek Compability mod. I've been too lazy to pick and and fix the issues at hand. I'll at some point fix these two mods, but they're not my priorities. My unit mods are my soul work.

Wish they would also overhaul sieges so different types of units are able to do more things you would expect them to do (kholek actually breaking down the walls with his hammer, or goblin spiders scaling the walls)

@Melongrubber Sure it might be too much, but too much he is indeed. In the lore, he is even larger. A lot larger. But alas this is a game and not the actual lore so I have to indeed keep that in mind. Indeed it might be too big but I won't change that as of now. The health thing is to keep this towards vanilla balance. This is purely visual and not stat changing too much. The only thing is the speed increase because the running animation won't trigger otherwise :(

I hate to nit-pick, but I am feeling the 100% increase is a bit much. Would it be possible for you to release a second mod with a 50% increase in size/stats. Also, how would you feel about including some of the state changes featured in this mod?

If anything, I feel that mod is a bit conservative. Kholek should have significantly more HP than a standard Shaggoth (rather than less; can you believe it? as in vanilla).

I know you probably won't see this, but thank you SO much for this mod. I always wanted Kholek to embody that huge presence from the tabletop. For that alone, this mod ranks in my top 3 for the entire game. You rock! :)

I've been thinking about updating this mod to a vanilla working state. Like, increasing his hitbox (because of the size) and reducing his movement speed and reducing the numbers that make his running animation trigger. I have no clue how to fix this at the moment and it will require testing.

I noticed that usually in 1v1s, Kholek has a tendency to just walk up to the enemy lord and "kick" them instead of attacking, and it can be kinda anoying when I just want him to finish the enemy hero/lord, so I wanted to ask if you increased the area of attack for Kholek?

I love this mod. The speed doesn't increase to 110, remains in 80. It would be great if also you could increase few skills too as mele or defense. Anyway, great job ! Galrauch would be amazing as well ;)

Just curious man, but since he is larger, does that mean his hitbox is bigger? So he gets hit more often from missles/arty?

Just an update for people using this mod, you may be aware that Kholek is stuttering while attacking and that is in the vanilla base game aswell. I tested it and his animation has a tendancy to get interrupted in vanilla.

I dispise using overhauls overall so I highly doubt it my friend. It changes my game way too much. I have been asked to join projects and I doubt I will. They usually get permission to borrow models I make, but I won't make them balanced for their mods. Sorry about that my friend :( Thought, if you want to alter the stats yourself I can help you with that. It's really easy in fact.

Give it a shot. But I'm pretty sure they already alter his stats in the radious mod which renders this mod's stats obsolete. Either you use radious or you use my mods. Sorry buddy, I won't make my mods compatible with other overhauls right now :(

Ok so I deactivated the Radious mods. Kholek's speed is 110 without them active. I'm going to test the mod with Radious now, but without the Herald of the Tempest mod and compatibility patch.

Well I think the only problem is that Kholek's speed is still 80 as opposed to 110. Seems like a logical explanation for why he won't break into a run. So I feel like the solution would be to fix that discrepancy somehow. I'm probably going to test the mod without the presence of Radious and see if that fixes it.

I am using the compatibility mod for Herald of the Tempest, no complaints there. I mean this seems like a relatively simple fix, or am I mistaken? I can't even really confirm if it's Radious responsible.

my mods are never compatible with radious. If you want to use this mod with herald of the tempest, use my compability mod with Herald of the Tempest ;)

No, now that you mention it, it's 80. I'm using Radious and the Herald of the Tempest mod. Maybe Radious is conflicting somehow, if it modifies Kholek's stats?
