Good setup. I was able to beat a further developed Mercedes by .335s in Qualifying on Master Difficulty. My sector-times were 17.9 - 41.4 - 38.9 totalling 1:38.305 against Hamilton's 17.6 - 41.6 - 39.3 = 1:38.640. My "bad" sector 1 is mostly down to driver error whereas sector 2 being mostly about engine power I am only giving the Mercedes .2s there which is basically the essence of why this is a good setup, for me at least. Sector 3 I am cutting corners 12 and 13 (right-left chicane after the second straight) a lot more than the AI does, carrying a lot more speed into turn 14, which might be worth mentioning but even if you don't do that it is still a competitive setup as far as I'm concerned.
