It made more sense back in 2012 when the file was posted, as that was actually the name I went by.
That said, this is the name it was released under on the Gaslamp forums back in the day, so for the sake of parity, it's not worth changing.

But yes, you're probably right. I have a bit of a fixation on naming things I create after myself. It's a problem.

"Mega Phoneme Mod" is probably a better name for this?

So wait, this adds morphine to the game?
ZombieBiskit 13 Aug, 2012 @ 9:55am
This is actually, likely, the morphemes of some made up language. Whether this mod added phonemes or not depends on what sounds were already possible and what ones were added. Also depends on pronunciation so your mileage may vary. Either way the argument is kinda silly, and I love silly things.

I really enjoy the little things like this. It breathes new life into an already fantastic game. I'll come back and leave a rating once I've played it a bit :)

This is one of my favorites :3

Actually morphemes are the smallest sounds that have meaning. Either words -jump- or modifiers to words (prefix/suffix) like "ed" in "jumped." A morpheme can be comprised of one more more "phonemes."

That being said, love this mod! Very minimilistic, yet expands upon the game without changing its feel! Kudos!

Poe's situation. Couldn't say without creator opinion.

@Shax: I'm pretty sure that was an intentional play on words...
"More phonemes" -> "Morphemes"
Sennastar 8 Jun, 2012 @ 1:24am
Nope, it's phonemes. Morphemes are modifying forms (e.g. changes a noun to a verb), phonemes are just distinct sounds (well, not exactly, but that's just because I'm a linguist).

The Phononynomanemones are absolutely the tops, my good man!

I like these phenomena that are phonemising right here.
I love you all, goodbye 6 Jun, 2012 @ 7:14am
I approve of these phenomes?

Are you sure you don't mean morphemes.
