@Kevin I f you use an engine sound mod so yes it's normal. If not, try buy an other engine.

I loose engine sound when using this mod. Did I do something wrong?

@Saltheart Foamfollower No on both. Adding the torque curve gives a variety where a compromise must be found.

400 HP would be great at about 1300 lb torque. Most 400hp motors seem to have to high of a torque number.

I phrased this question poorly. What I meant to ask was if SCS did in fact base all of the truck physics on the torque number and not the horsepower number?

@Saltheart Foamfollower I can do 450hp (I have spec) and if I found torque curve, I can do 400hp. I think also make Paccar MX13 soon.

Sure, just asking for a lowered powered engine, or a few of them even, to me it adds to the immersion and feeling of a real truck. A 350HP or even a 300 would be awesome.

@Saltheart Foamfollower The ISX15 engines go from 400hp to 600hp so if I found the torque curve for the others, I will add them to my mod. For your question, I'm sorry but english isn't my native language so can you ask more clearly please.

Nice work and thanks for sharing. Any cahnce we can get one with lesser powered motors? All of these are way to powerful imo. I use the 370hp but would prefer maybe a 325hish. Maybe even a 275 just for a true test.

One question you might know. In ATS they use the torque number to base truck power on? I see the 625hp Cat motor only has (iirc) 2200 torque?
