As the description states, it's a toggled power. It's not automatic.

so does it automatically night-eye in dark areas, or does it continue during the day if it is toggled on? b/c im looking for a nighteye mod that will automatically initiate at night

It is, but it expires too quickly for my tastes. This will stay active until you turn it off, no matter how much time passes in-game.

just added http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=7577 , toning down the NightEye effect by 50%. Works alone or in conjunction with this mod.

@Damien_G13: Exactly. Never made any sense, glad I could fix it so easily. Going to make dungeon crawling so much better.
