If anyone else is having issues with it telling you it couldn't find this mod file when you try to load a save thereby corrupting the save, check your subscribed items and if you have the monstrous megapack installed it seems to actually be that mod that is causing the issue not this one. I Removed the monstrous megapack and I no longer get corrupted save files. Hope that helps you.

just somthing I saw. The final skill in the drunk boxing is %#$&ing broken, as it allows you to triple your dmg , at the same time making the low hit chance obsolete, due to attacking enough times, you statistically will always hit at least once with the only downsides of having to get booze, and having low defensive skills. And another thing. Tweak the 3rd ability (I think) of wild magic, so It doesn't break the game in half by giving you 33% spell crit. jesus. Other than that, these are fun abilities that I always do enjoy, and HAYWIRE ( or EH WAUZER of you're me) will allways be amazing to hear

Dim Mak doesn't seem to be working properly. On my current character I have around 38 stacks of it that never seem to go away.

That's far from gamebreaking though. All in all this is a fantastic mod that adds some much needed variety to DoD. Thanks for making it!

I seem to keep getting an error when i play with this mod installed. it keeps telling me "This save game appears to be corrupted or incomplete. Couldn't load mod 'Compleat Essential Skills' " I have yet to find a fix

Both this mod and the mod 'Bowiemancy' have started to give me loading errors when attempting to load saved games, saying that it could not load either mod properly, yet starting a new game with the mods would be completely possible. It stopped happening when -only- those two mods were removed from my subs, though I don't know what could be causing it.

I really like this mod though - it's super duper wonderful.

One of those true yet obvious statements people sometimes make about the world is that you can't please everybody Essense. Even if you give someone something of good quality for absolute free, you can guarantee someone is going to find something to bitch about.

it is a bit arrogant to think everyone wants all of these skills. I am interested in 2 out of 11 here and I'm not going to fill up the skill list with crap like gangam style and generic warrior bs so I guess this is a pass and a thumbs down. sort your shit out please ty.

Poisoneer seems rather OP haha, especially once you hit "pool of nastiness". Throw one brimstone flask into a monster zoo and they kill themselves on the nastiness.

Nevermind, I disabled a few other mods and it worked perfeclty. I'm still trying to figure out why it did that though, I havent subscribed to new mods in a while and they always worked perfectly.

I think there is a problem with the skill tree 'Poisoneer' I am not fully certain, but I couldnt create a game with it? It was the only mod skill tree I had put on the character, and when I loaded a save that did not have the skill tree it worked perfectly. I'll get back to you when I have tested a bit more.

Compleat is an archaic spelling, you might see it if you poke around some of the older books in project gutenberg.

The Dim Mak Qigong Skill seems to be broken for me. It just gives me a stacking Buff whcih never go away or do anything

Gangnam Style is too strong I feel. But only in two abbilities,

"Cool guys never look at exsplotions" should only give Gold on haywier i feel, (or only give a lot less gold, as long as i am willig to grind a little i have efectivly infinite gold)

"Revers cow... boy" give 6 in all primary stats for effectivly free, and that feels like too much, (if this passive is only gained while the "beat" is going then i would say it was only a little much, but I think all his passive dances are always on once you get them... and 36 primary stats for nothing is... yeah it feels like too much)

The example i remember isnt really a spelling mistake, but it's something that annoyed me. The Wild Magic description on the skill selection screen stops in the middle of a word, as if the entire description didnt fit in the square.

Is QiGong too strong? Anyone else have an opinion? Also, Beardynoise, if you happen around this way again, what OS/version of Dredmor are you using? Do you have all of the DLC? (You shouldn't need it, but it always helps to know...)

Wild Magic seems to be crashing my games whenever I try to start a run with it as a skill. I've been testing for mod clashes, but it seems to just be that skill.

Oh, and I've also noticed that the game has become easier as more skills come in with seven or eight tiers. It was kind of nice having to water down my builds with Warlockery and Clockwork Knight in consideration of the level cap. My idea, should someone want to follow up on it, is a mod that restricts raising a skill either twice in a row or until you've put one point in everything. That would be super tough but fun.

First off, thanks for all of the time you've put into this stellar mod. Unfortunately, QiGong is crushing everything in its path :( . I'm only four floors down, but the monsters can't even survive until they reach melee range. I haven't needed any other skill tree. What am I missing? Anybody else notice balancing issues with this tree? Can I select 9 or 10 of the CES options (I just love how challenging an archmage build seems to be for instance) and eliminate QiGong? Oh, and I'm not good enough yet, I've only been playing for a week, to go for the random build solution to this. Thanks for your time!
