Just the passive stat bonuses alone are enormous... This would be a powerful skilltree even if you never summoned a pet even once.
There are no downsides at all, choosing it is pretty much the equivalent of lowering the game difficulty one notch.
What I'm getting at here is that it's flagrantly overpowered. I don't want to sound insulting about it, but it's not exactly difficult to see that it outclasses every other similar skill in almost every way.
It's a cool skill and I'd like to use it, but it lowers the difficulty too much.

For example, I have 65 health after using citadel's circle. I give his blessing to my summon, I now have 75 health. I down a level, summon again, give the blessing, I now have 85 health.
