Also replaced the door logic on room 1. No visual change there.
I'm pretty sure the 2nd bug is related to the cube dropper logic behind the wall (cube not setting on the plate properly). I could redo that later to work with more reliable lasers. 3rd bug must have been related to cube moving after leaving the room. door is directly connected to the higher laser receiver.
2 more bugs:
1st bug-1st room, I had cube on button, but panel stayed closed.
I restarted, then it worked properly.
2nd bug-after entering 3rd room, the panel closed,
between 2nd & 3rd room.
this is strange, as I have played this map a few times with no bugs.
ps.
I have not used any console comands.
no timer there.
though in 3rd room, a strange bug:
I used tractorbeam to go into hatch, back to 1st area.
when in hatch, I was floating along the cieling towards the reflector cube & button.
as if the tractorbeam was under me, which it was not any more.
map still worked in all other aspects.
& thankyou for confirming I did the intended solution.
the shame is, some people might not make it past the 2nd room.
shame they will miss the very best of this map.
the 2nd room I had to backwards throw the cube onto the light bridge,
at an angle, to reflect the laser to hit the laser emitter, which opens the panel.
very tricky & many attempts.
the last challenge was very good.
when I found myself looking into the 1st room, I was stumped for a while.
using the tractor beam from the 1st room, to solve the problem in the exit room ( which has it's own tractor beam ) was brilliant.
1st room good.
2nd room to fiddly.
after that, fantastic.
Let me explain what ocurred:
1st attempt: Room 1 works fine and I got stuck on room 2;
2nd attempt: Room 1 didn't work.
3rd attempt: Roo1 was fixed and works as the 1st time.
Between the attempts I had a new download of your map.
PS: I didn't used the floor laser to solve the room2.
