at the time i made this, i was using FU. though i havent played Starbound in a long time, unsure if FU has made any conflicting changes

I haven't looked into the code for this mod in a long time (although it only changes like, one value in a patch method) but I don't think the base files have changed so the mod should work fine lol I could still be wrong though. In my years of experience with game mods, I have found that a vast majority of issues, mod or not, are user error.

Surprisingly it still works for me. Maybe it's just poor Windows users getting the shaft, again? :p

Is there a possibility that his can be done, but the opposite? Would you be capable of creating a mod that totally removes the ability for a player to beam back to their ship?

ITS definatly broken..... just got it and still cant beam back to my ship after collecting core fracments........this game sucks what an waste of time trying to move up again...

@EZKatnipz maybe, but apparently if it is the problem, it's not the only problem I was having. Apparently my sound driver wasn't interfacing with the game properly again either, something that has caused this game to crash on startup for me in the past

thank you SO much! I was going to try doing this myself but I am not confident I would've figured it out anytime soon. Glad I checked here first rather than reinventing the wheel

I went in over my head in my playthrough, having spent a few hours collecting Fossils and getting lost in the depths of the planet. On top of all this, I had mined into a massive bone deposite and was being buried. With low chance to ever find and recover my fossils, I quit out the game with 1 breath bar to spare. After a minute I found and activated this mod, in the very last second as I started up again, I was able to teleport back to my ship, on the brink of dying, with all my fossils intact.
This mod saved me hours of work, and for that I thank you.
