Wonderful idea! I've always wondered why my character can forge his own sword (something only a master blacksmith can do in real life) but he can't do something as relatively simple as making his own arrow. I can make my own arrows in real life and I'm not even an expert.

One of the scripts doesn't work other than allowing a "Gift" to the Player. And it doesn't matter what the item is as long as it's on the inventory of the NPC being activated, also the properties can be reset or unchecked with same result. So a Cow can "give" milk or chickens can "give" chicken eggs, etc. Or other items in inventory.

Hey, i really like the idea of this mod, its great! I'm an archer in the game and this would be so dope. Thing is though, since its in english and I'm german and I play in german the names of the arrows and so on are all in english and I think that kindof sucks. Would you be up for adding a feature that makes it become the same language you are playing in? I would help with translation. :) Or I bet theres a way to take the name out of the script of the game in the right language and with chicken feathers and so on, those are easy to translate...

@Gi1g4m3sh There are no vanilla arrow recipes, so these are all new. Bethesda added arrow recipes in the Dawnguard expansion. If you have the Dawnguard expansion and want to replace those recipes, get the Dawnguard Edition instead.

Just a quick question (as I read the description and didn't find the answer for it): do those recipes replace the vannila ones or add new recipes alongside with vanilla ones? I really prefer he need for feather variants for arrowsmithing, makes it more realistic.

either 24 or 50 arrows at a time. I have another mod that includes arrow smithing. I think its Ebonsteel Dragon bone armor.

@Deathbowyer The same as anything else. I don't set the amount in the mod, the game sets it based on the item value. If you use any sort of smithing overhaul mods that changes this, then I have no way of knowing.

How much Smithing XP do you get each time you craft arrows, if at all?

No, but this is compatible if you have Dragonborn without Dawnguard. If you do have Dawnguard, use the Dawnguard Edition. Either way, the arrow recipes introduced in Dragonborn won't be replaced, but you still get all the other recipes. However, I am considering making a supplimental addon to fix that as it's been getting requested lately.

Great mod, I love using it. I was going to unsubcribe when I got the Dragonborn expansion, but I love plucking the chickens!

One of my favorite Mods.. I just love using Bow&Arrow, but having to find all those frickin' arrows gets incredibly annoying... Crafting them is wonderful!

This is really helpful. Getting high level arrows got a lot easier. Why was this not included in the original game? It's only a logical consequence.

Should'nt Bethestda have included this?...Seriously..

I feel like it should make fewer arrows for each pack of resources. 50 is just mountainous.

Wood chopping blocks. There's one in Whiterun behind the general goods store. There's another in Riverwood near the saw mill.

I deleted it because it looked like spam. You linked to a mod on another website that, as far as I could tell, had nothing to do with this mod. Plus I still don't see any connection to what you're talking about. This mod doesn't modify quests, brawling, carriages, or trainers. I even looked in to the brawl bug that you mentioned before and didn't see any connection.

I coulda sworn i left a comment before; one known issue I have is npc's turning hostile whenever you brawl. Suspected issues (I have several mods, going through them now) include inability to use carriages and certain trainers which require quests not being available after completing quests
