I was out barhopping and I ran into a guy and we started talking ♥♥♥♥ back and forth, neither of us getting heated until he said, "I served in Iraq, but I guess you're more of an American than I am!"
I immediately replied with, "I was in Arghandab ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ river valley ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!"
Arghandab river valley was/is the hottest zone in Afghanistan.
One of his three friends immediately split us up.
If you're a vet, you will understand that this does not qualify as "just talking ♥♥♥♥."
I immediately got very high tempered and said some things along the lines of "you are almost as bad as a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrorist" (maybe a bit of an over-exaggeration), "you are an offense to everyone that ever wore a uniform" (understatement) "you may as well desecrate a soldier's grave" (accurate) all while sticking my hand in his face hoping he would do something so i would have an excuse. I hate ♥♥♥♥ like this and if we were ever in the same bar again I would tell him to leave (I was waiting for a cab).
