End game, that is what I usually ended up doing. Of course mines are dangerous places, and this mod does not make them completely harmless, in vanilla, it sometimes felt like a death sentence using them, and not for a great deal of output. Those Iron tools cost lives, dangit, can you all try not to break them!

One of the first (and more entertaining) things I learned playing this game was how mines were very dangerous. "So and so was crushed under a boulder" or something like that and I had to laugh. Then it kept happening! To the point that my most recent map I avoided mines and quarries altogether and only got the materials laying on the surface or by trade.

Not sure I'll ever try this mod, but it's funny to see this getting explicitly addressed. Good work.

Flexible mines should be compatible with 'safer mines and quarries', which should give most of the features of this one.

so, will you make a combined version of the flexible and tamed mines? it'd be much appreciated if you could. Thanks.

Less people die while using it.

What do you mean with "Safer"?

Good to know, I'll Add a note to the description for the benefit of anyone else.

Ok, wife just told me she has no clashes between them. Thanks for the response.

I'm afraid I don't know for sure.
If all they do is change the placement parameters then they should be compatible, if they've changed the production or UI elements, then probably not.

Are your mine/quarry mod's compatable with PSIchoNinja's field-less quarries/mountain-less mines
