Sadly due to the changes had to replace the blocks so it could be used again :( so may wish to do the same quickly so can be used easily ... i know MANY people use it as it is quick and easy to spawn in and use for many things :P

Always my favorite creation! I've even made a few spin-offs - an HV, a CV, and one or 2 with either more guns or a constructor.

This is still my favorite go to early survival design. So functional and so damn cheap! Thanks again @Nuke!

This is an awesome little flyer. I've upgraded the cargo to A9 and it's still cheap as chips, a scrooge on fuel and so, SO manoevrable! Love it :)

Yes, it is a great platform, both as a starter and later as a beefed up fighter.

I was inspired by this design and made one myself. At first it was just as minimal. Now when I start the game, I usually make one, but it's much beefier. combat steel encased, jet thrusters, larger capacity fuel and O2, and oh, the guns. Cant go wrong with 4 miniguns and at least 2 railguns. great start and great platform.

I now use the Zip as my go to SV. It's cheap to build, easy to access all the parts to repair and it takes add-ons well - I have one with warp drive - and keep a spare in the hanger if I need it when I'm respawned.

Found that it sinks in to thin sheet blocks but not whole blocks. When I Jack hammered the block away it freed up the Zip. I then replaced the blocks with whole blocks and It fixed the problem. Can't think of another situation where this might be a problem but I'll let you know if any thing like that occurs again. Other than that great SV! Helped me finally knock out the turrets on a testy alien facility.

I spawned the SV-Zip on my landing pad and it sunk into the concrete blocks! I got it out part way by tipping it on its side but it's still apparently stuck solid - like the cement was poured around it. I'm going to dismantle it and see how much comes out. or I may try to remove the cement blocks and see what happens. May find Jimmy Hoffa in the process.I took screen shots but I'm not goin to take the time to figure out how to attach or send them.......

I use this little guy for auto mine collection on poi cleared moons and planets ,,, its so fast and nimble that it really speeds up the job a lot . I really like the hassle free entry as well ,, too much bother with rear door access for such a simple task as collection on other bigger SVs ,,,, thank you so much for this design . Looking forward to slapping a few 135 hmsl to it and " digging " through dungeons with it as well !

I have a request, being a long time fan of this little ship. I have used it alot. Would you consider one day to try and make a CV variant of this little ship? the cv doesnt need to be a moving base, but more of a simple combat frigate that could house this zip. Would be really cool, thanks ! =)

I'm not on experimental so I couldn't tell you, but I will definitely check it out when 6 hits live.

Is it me or is this not flying the same as in previous builds? Im on experimental and it seems to be harder to control it.

I just came here to let you know this zip has gotten me through many ventures, rescues and startups, even use it as my primary interceptor in pvp (with better guns) this ship has served me so well lol, I had to come here and say thank you! will you make an upgraded one with the new update?

The developers have stated that 'hidden thrusters' are intended and they have no intention of implementing thruster damage.
