@Raio Verisia, There are some modded turrets that use their own custom overlay, but im not sure how ones that use the default one would be affected. They might just not recognize my mod and use the default.

Is it not possible to add the ui to modded turrets as well? I assumed they all pulled from the same files that would be temp-overwritten by a loaded mod's files

@Nix yes I am, I didn't consider that lol

@tanus11 do you mean you want to be able to switch between the vanilla and modded overlay image in-game? I don't know if there is a way to do that.
Tanus11 5 Apr, 2019 @ 9:56am
@Nix what i mean is in the vanilla game you have a camera and i was wondering if there was a mod were you took the vanilla camera model and just placed this overlay on it so that you have 2 cameras in the building menu. i'll take your answer as a no or am I mistaken

@tanus11 I'm not sure what you're asking. I dont know how to make models to make a new camera.

@Raio Verusia From my testing it seems like the mod still works, but it only works on the vanilla turrets and camera. Are you using modded turrets with this mod?
Tanus11 4 Apr, 2019 @ 11:06pm
@Nix you wouldnt have this as a mod where you have a new camera block with this overlay because id like to use several differen styles for different situations

Ah, no worries. It's a real shame, I was really looking forward to trying this x3 At least the camera still works, nice work on that one. Maybe you'll find some motivation to fix it, but no pressure. Currently using Midspace's clean crosshair overlay, so, while it's not as nice as yours at least it's not vanilla trash.

Its been a long time since I've played SE, and I'm not sure what changes they have made or when a change broke the mods :/

I can confirm the turret overlay does not work, it only functions for cameras.

I run into a little problem. While the overlay for the camears is working, its not working for the turrets camera. Did i something wrong?

i just prefer hexgons
Nixeen  [author] 16 May, 2017 @ 5:10pm
Alright, also have you tried my Scanline variant of this mod?
Udon De Noodle 16 May, 2017 @ 5:00pm
no i like it to be more like modern tank cannon sights
Nixeen  [author] 16 May, 2017 @ 4:56pm
Well Digi's "Camera Panning" mod sort of does that for cameras, but maybe I can do that with the new HUD, which I am still looking into. But just to be clear, you wouldnt want the turret to look more like the camera overlay? I feel like its a bit too complex to get a quick aim on things.
Udon De Noodle 16 May, 2017 @ 12:44pm
i think they are prefect as they are..mabey add a lttitle "zoom indaction" thats static for turrets/camras like the real life gun sights
Nixeen  [author] 16 May, 2017 @ 5:54am
Would anyone want the turret crosshair/overlay more simplifed and/or similar to the camera overlay?

(Update: January 1/6/2017):
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Updated with different overlays that are more military accurate. The 2 overlays are now different from each other. Green larger one for turrets and White smaller one for cameras.
