Do I need to download anything else for this mod? I tried it out tonight. Was able to create the item but it did not work. I died 2 separate times to test it.

Fantastic mod, really! It indicates just left/right, but an objective arrow points at the death place on screen when you are close enough to see it! A must for saving hours of play!

This is still my #1 most essential mod actual game changer

I just found a situation in which it doesn't work. I'm not certain if it is because I died in a moon or because I died to the Erchius Horror.

Just posting here that this mod does still work (I'm only using enhanced storage/food stack for the other mods). Why an item like this wasn't incorporated into the game is beyond me. Thank you for this mod it makes survival a lot more enjoyable, even if it still sucks dying deep down in a planet.

FYI, this causes issues with one of the following mods: Frackin Universe, b3k's inventory, StardustLib, RPG Growth, or Enhanced Storage. I ended up with my character being invincible and either infinite energy or not regenerating, even after trying the recommended '/admin' fix

Just to chip in: This mod is working for me on current stable (1.3.4)

As per the description, it didn't work for a death that occurred before I installed the mod, but for one that occurred after it worked fine.

Thanks to the author for this - I'm sure it's going to save me hours hunting my items after I've got bored of following a plan and wandered off gods (and now the skull) only know where.

I loved this mod but unfortunately had to uninstall it since I don't think this is compatible with optimizebound/fps improvement mods that affect particles. It's a really cool idea though!

So it's not compatible with FU, but the FU version only works if you die from combat damage...
Fuck, I died from fall damage. RIP my items forever, I guess.

skull not doing anything, im in right world and died after instanlled mod.

What do I do if I died and then lost track and went on a different path and die on that path and the skull tracks only that death instead of the original location of my death. Its a lot to take in but hopefully you understand...

Are you going to restrict this from Hardcore? Cause as it says, when you die you are dead for good.

That's because Frackin Universe already had this mod integrated into it for a while now. It's called the Crystalline Skull.

Mod saved me lots ot time to track down my deaths in this game after coming back to it. Conflicts with the newest Frackin' Universe mod/overhaul.

This is a fantastic mod, and one that saved many hours of my work. I died before I downloaded it, downloaded it in a panic, and decided to try and use it despite believing it would not work due to only downloading it after my death.
Lo and behold, however, my remains drew the sparkling wisps of the item, and it lead me directly to my last place of death, glowing brightly as I picked up all of my lost items, and saved nearly three hours of work.
So thank you, kind creator. You have both my gratitude and my awe.

I died with this item in my inventory on a moon but it is not showing any particles to direct me to my corpse? If you have any idea why this might be happening please let me know cause I'd love to get my shit back... Could it be an issue with another installed mod?

I can't tell ...as i don't use it. If such base mechanic of game as fall-damage don't work it has to do something bad who knows with what else.

Did anyone else noticed... with this mod its impossible to die from fall, i test it in my mod collection...every time this single mod works i can jump from mountain tops that would kill me, checked on same save and same planet without and i can die again.

I had that same issue when I last played actively, but I'm not sure if the game can track multiple death locations. Would be great.

I was travelling to my last point of death, but then I died while trying to get there. Now it only shows me the way to the newest point. Please make it so that when you get to your last death point that it shows the one before that too.

Not working with 1.3.

Just subscribe to it.
As far as I tested, it only shows you your last death. But I didn't test if it would show you the death before last one if you reach that point.
