I tried this map again after the improvement of laser calculation in portal 2.
Its a tough nut.

@Eternal yeah I figured that was the intention. I think I'll end up giving it another go in a day or two. I just got done playing a couple not so great ones before this. Though I think in future maps it's good to have better direction with clear progress to the goal because some "hard" ones I've seen are only hard because the solution is essentially a "read my mind" philosphy.

@theOfficePortal it's a different kind of puzzle from the maps you can find in the workshop: the fact that "it really isn't clear what you are supposed to do" is intended and is part of the puzzle :)
it's also supposed to be really hard to solve, and "in a smaller setting with a clearer idea of what activates what", it wouldn't be!

I think my main issue is that it really isn't clear what you are supposed to do and the blue lines all over the place make it frustrating to see what everything activates. I think a good map involves making steady process and not sitting around attempting to figure out where everything goes. I bet the same "comcept" in this map can be done in a smaller setting with a clearer idea of what activates what.

Nope, it's not just about that, there are different kinds of mini-puzzles in this one. Don't be fooled by the number of lasers, it's part of the puzzle too! =D

Well that was a little bit different... once again i think i managed to find a "Not the proper method" to solve the map >.<

but at least this time i used the lift to finish it .. sort of... (droped onto the raised lift to throw the last portals to open the door.. )

Haha damn, I'll have to find how to prevent jumping to the exit :D
I just changed a very little thing by the way, no need to do it again unless you want to do it the right way!

lol i got the 2nd button.. i just wasent able to find a way to have the last relay and lift activated at the same time...

so i used my jumping skills to haxor it.. stoon in the exit door frame to cast the last portals to activte the last relay to open the door

herm.. i finished it 3 minutes ago.. looks like ill have to play through it again >.< :D

also not entirly sure what the 2nd button did... but then again since im sure i didnt complete it properly... herm...

The only thing that gets me is the second button.... Can't seem to get to it.
