No updates for more than one year, you probably understood that I cannot work on this mod anymore. I'm in the middle of my studies and I don't have enough free time to work on it.
I'll leave this message here so you know what to expect.
If one day I'm able to work again on this mod, I'll post another message here to let you know.

Weird, I wonder how a simple graphic mod can make your game lag. Anyway, go to your Necrodancer files, open downloaded_mods and erases all the files related to my mod. Let me know if it fixes your problem.
I'm actually working of an update for the mod. When it come out, I'd like if you could redownload the mod to see if the update have fixed the problem.

Say I want to disable the mod for some reason, say it makes it lag when I try playing Aria, is there any way to uninstall it without damaging my saves?

It's simple, I'll explain.
So.
You subscribe to this mod on this page.
You go on Necrodancer.
You click escape.
In the menu, you click "mod", then "play a mod" and you select this mod.
Hope you'll have fun!

Just tried it, no problem for me. Try to delete the "particles" file in the mod folder. Maybe it'll fix that.

It seem you have a weird ssue with skeletons...
Well, don't kill them until I found why it crash I guess - -'.

Tried again, worked fine, until I hit a black shield skeleton from a non- shielded side. This might have to do with there being no custom sprite for shielded skeletons, although that's just a theory.

I did a search and found some wrong files, might have been the language thing you talked about, I'll go try again.

So, I've done my tests and finally found what cause the game to crash. Apparently, it was a problem with the "langages" files. I've deleted them of the mod folder and published it again. Normally, your game will not crash now. Can you see if it work?

#@kirb your entusiasm, you have either altered your XML file for the game, or you are missing files, lease check game integerity cache by right clicking on the game in your library>borwse local files>local files>check game integerity cache.
Either your missing the particle sprite for when the heads come off the skeletons, or you have a modifed XML file for the wep and/or skeleton values.

Ok, when I try to go into zone 1, the game crash. It seem to be something with the mod I don't noticed. I will republish the mod with today update, so it will maybe fix it.

Oh God, I'm glad to see your answer! I don''t knew how to publish it properly and the Steam Support refused to help me with that. I'll try to understand how to do it (I speak french so it's not helping) and get this mod publish for the knight the Workshop deserve!
Simple cursiosity, how did you find the mod in the workshop? I didn't found it myself... (I'm pretty bad with computers :/)

I can start off by telling you to include the thumbnail you want forthis mod, so it appears in steam workshop properly, is to include it in the COTN?MODS folder, named the same as the mod file is.
NOT In the mod file for the mod your on... i know it doesnt make much sense, does it? ^^
any advice an stuff you can ask! im working on a death road to canada mod, maybe.. idk xD i still havent finihsed super mario retro dancer yet >< xD
with music, your gonna have issues bc of file size, and the names. its a bunch of bs lol.
try to get a hold of MAX ARKNESS, he;'s the pro on music additons ^^
he made the danganronpa mod, so music adding is defintly his forte ^^
