nevermind. another request i have is that you make the sounds a bit unique for each weapon. the plasma weapons should have a slightly more satisfying firing sound, and the mag weapons should have a little after effect, like the actual firing sounds in XCOM 2. the mag cannon is what i was looking forward to most and i was sad to see it only had the same sfx as the laser and plasma weapons

I could see this mod going next-level. Like with an X-Com science facility you study other races at (with your own race mostly understood by default). "Oh, you met some novakids - here, we can significantly boost your energy meter." There could be an engineering bay where you design mech parts instead of exploring and rng-grinding blueprints.

@The Stalker, Thanks for the feedback, the problems that you listed are Fixed in the Starbound Forums version of the mod found here: http://community.playstarbound.com/resources/the-xcom-mod.3416/ This is because I have issues with updating the mod on the steam workshop so if you want the latest version I suggest trying out that one untill I get this fixed.

A little feedback: I've only used the weapons that the Heavy class from Xcom 1 uses and the MECs. I find the LMG type weapons damage to be rather low, and the Blaster Launcher has no explosion, only dealing damage to a single target which must take a direct hit. I found two errors as well. For the Exalt Assault Rifle, a typo was made making it the "Exakt Assault Rifle". And the MEC MK3 is actually just the MK2. At first I thought it was just another typo but upon crafting and deploying it to check, I found it really was still just the MK2. I'll be checking the other content eventually but so far I reckon it's pretty good.
