anyone wants to remaster this?
Tiberius Rex 31 Aug @ 1:35pm
Oh my fault. Turns out it's the Boots and Stuff mod. All these game updates constantly break stuff.
Shinzy  [author] 31 Aug @ 10:54am
Nope! I have neither gloves nor shoes in the mod
(I used to but that was in versions before Steam workshop)
Tiberius Rex 31 Aug @ 9:53am
So I ended up finding the gloves. What happened is the thumbnails don't load for these 3 items - Medic Gloves, Miner Gloves and Sandals. Because the images don't load they are just transparent and it was on the floor I just didn't see it. But I thought these were from Apparello no?
Shinzy  [author] 30 Aug @ 10:47am
@Tiberius Rex, The gloves are from another mod! do you recall what the other items you tried to create? Imma try to investigate this tomorrow, thank you
Tiberius Rex 30 Aug @ 9:39am
Hi I love this mod and it's always worked flawlessy but this time I'm getting some bugs. I'm playing on 1.4 which should not be a problem but several items never did load the thumbnails image and there is some other naughtiness it seems my tailor never works on 3 of the items, they just magically appear at the destination. Except the Medic Gloves I can't find anywhere even though the workbench lists it has been created.
Maconnais 25 Aug @ 2:25pm
This is very nostalgic, thank you for the 1.6 update!
Tkhakiro 25 Aug @ 10:37am
Fortunately, the author of the description of the clothes has a good sense of humor, it was a joy to me.)
Shinzy  [author] 25 Aug @ 9:06am
@Tkhakiro Oh! I'm surprised you've remained sane after having to translate all of my nonsense! :pinatapoop:

I've included the translation in, thank you very much, that is real kind of you!
Tkhakiro 24 Aug @ 2:18pm
@Shinzy hello! Thank you so much for supporting this wonderful fashion, I've been using it with pleasure for several years now. In my spare time, I completely updated the Russian translation to the current version of the mod and uploaded it to Google Drive:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1oRZYa0b6uGCYdM1UIAYKHRhMja11K6Pq?usp=sharing
Solarius Scorch 22 Aug @ 5:44am
Yay, vacuum helmets! :3
Shinzy  [author] 14 Jul @ 10:10am
@Messire Well thankfully 1.6 didn't change a whole lot how apparel work :lunar2019piginablanket: Althought I just remembered I need to go add vacuum resistance to a whole bunch of helmets :KScared:
GothGirlThighs 14 Jul @ 9:21am
ANOTHER W FOR THE MOD GODS! :FH5Kudos:
Messire 14 Jul @ 9:08am
Oh my! Apparello 1.6. I wasn't expecting that, considering the worn out part I've been reading about. From a player using your mod since the early alphas, thank you very much, Shinzy. Now my pawns once again get to look like looney tunes characters. Your art is the very best, hands down.
Solarius Scorch 29 May @ 11:29am
@Shinzy: Yay, that's great to hear!
I will look at this when I'm back from vacation, so in like 2 weeks at the earliest. Basically, if I still have the steam by then. :^)
Shinzy  [author] 29 May @ 2:57am
@Solarius Scorch
If you would be willing to make the patch then I'd be very happy to include it! :lunar2019piginablanket:
(I've been incredibly burnt out by RW modding and can't muster much higher effort currently!)

P.S. I'm still very huge fan of your Xcom files mod for openXcom!
Solarius Scorch 28 May @ 8:03am
Some items overlap with Vanilla Apparel Expanded. Would you be interested in patching them out? I can help.
Realm Imp 23 Apr @ 4:22am
really awesome mod. textures could be better but beggars cant be choosers. Great work!
Shinzy  [author] 2 Apr @ 8:53am
@Halicade thank you! I do believe it's fixed now :lunar2019piginablanket:
Halicade 1 Apr @ 11:51am
Hello! I get an error when clicking on the Tinkering bench. Log below

eeveecator 1 Feb @ 4:13pm
Are they available as quest rewards too? I would like to have some of high grade, either excellent or above, I've only seen such qualities with traders and quest rewards, I still would like to be able to craft the googles tho. Thanks for replying tho!
Shinzy  [author] 1 Feb @ 12:22pm
@eeveecator all the eyewear are just looted from raiders (or bought from traders)
eeveecator 1 Feb @ 10:35am
Is there a way to craft the ArchNem Ski googles? I just got them drop, not sure when or what dropped them but they were just laying there impervious to deterioration in my harbinger tree's stockpile zone and I wanna make some for my pawns, but can't find the recipe
Shinzy  [author] 31 Jan @ 7:50am
@Futstub Some errors might pop up from any pawns/buried/dead bodies etc wearing things and it's best to make sure you don't have any bills in workbenches before you uninstall
But I don't think it should be massively gamebreaking to do midgame
Futstub 31 Jan @ 6:41am
Ok, bummer, all the apparel doesn't count as apparel for LTS maintenance either...

This should be good to uninstall mid playthrough, righ?
Futstub 30 Jan @ 8:53am
Man, I really like the items in the mod, but the implementation is meh.
Everything counts as clothes for nudists (like eyewear) and there is a neolithic tech for the tribal wear. Some of it is worse than the normal tribal stuff, but it takes half a tech tree to get there...
Domster 20 Jan @ 4:03pm
Could some more neck protection be patched onto the added apparel? I'm almost certain that if a plain button down is enough to protect the neck, surely a long coat, poncho, bandit scarf or a union suit should be capable of providing that same protection. If its a balance thing, then I'd be fine with it, but I think it'd give more purpose to these dope clothing if more parts were covered
WhiskersAndCookie 5 Jan @ 1:31pm
@5H0 It's still a violation of the Geneva convention though...
Shinzy  [author] 16 Nov, 2024 @ 11:00am
Quick update! eyewear should now all be on the EyeCover layer (And after thinking about it I do believe that entire layer was likely added with one of the more recent dlcs, none of which I own as I've not played the game since royalty)

I did notice while doing lil testing that you can now plop glasses on top of your full head helmets too which can look a bit silly in some cases :Bleaty:
Shinzy  [author] 14 Nov, 2024 @ 8:02am
No, I just checked the latest version still has the wrong layer, (So I was probably thinking of different change to all the hats/eye body part group or something similar, It has been a while!!) I'll have to change that on the weekend

Thank you again for pointing it out :stella_happy:
TKTom 13 Nov, 2024 @ 2:57pm
I wonder if I managed to be using an old version or something then?
Shinzy  [author] 12 Nov, 2024 @ 7:07am
TKTom thank you! I thought I had fixed that already when it was changed way back when but clearly not :KScared:
TKTom 11 Nov, 2024 @ 7:46pm
Is it intended that sunglasses can no longer be worn with hats or is this because the Layer hasn't been updated to EyeCover?

I'm not sure exactly why this has changed (in the base game) but it seems that apparel worn on eyes now conflicts with Upperhead, if its on the same layer (Overhead.)

In my game I've applied this patch and the eyewear now acts how it used to:

<Operation Class="PatchOperationReplace">
<xpath>Defs/ThingDef[@ParentName="EyegearelloBase"]/apparel/layers</xpath>
<value>
<layers>
<li>EyeCover</li>
</layers>
</value>
</Operation>

@graublau Thank you! :spiffo:
graublau 26 May, 2024 @ 5:31am
Got it working again \o/ not sure what the issue was though, since I just redid everything, just wanted to report, so people know it does work :D
graublau 16 May, 2024 @ 10:17am
No problem, thank you for this great mod, I used it lots already ^^ if I do find out what exactly it clashes with I'll report, I'm testing out mods atm anyways
Shinzy  [author] 16 May, 2024 @ 10:15am
@graublau sorry, This is a very simple mod (With an even simpler creator! :KScared: ) so I don't really know what it could possibly be clashing with. The error message is of no help to me either I'm afraid :/
graublau 16 May, 2024 @ 9:52am
I'd love to use this mod again, but somehow it clashes with one of my other mods or something :( not sure what it is, because the game won't properly launch with it active, just goes to title screen, with game cursor, but without buttons or anything. I do get a message in the RimSort console though, maybe that helps:
qt.gui.imageio: libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile
Setting breakpad minidump AppID = 294100
SteamInternal_SetMinidumpSteamID: Caching Steam ID: 76561198036458986 [API loaded no]
5H0 10 May, 2024 @ 4:48am
@Narlindir the red cross fits much better, considering the game this mod is for.
Narlindir 3 May, 2024 @ 12:39pm
using the the red cross is a violation of the geneva convention btw
just make it green or blue instead
meow 22 Apr, 2024 @ 11:38am
thank you
MAx0N 12 Apr, 2024 @ 11:09am
thank you
Shinzy  [author] 12 Apr, 2024 @ 10:18am
1.5!
MAx0N 12 Apr, 2024 @ 4:15am
1.5
Shinzy  [author] 4 Apr, 2024 @ 8:54am
most likely yes at some point! :lunar2019piginablanket:
tarantio 2 Apr, 2024 @ 12:41am
Are you going to update it to 1.5 ?
Shinzy  [author] 30 Aug, 2023 @ 11:25am
@Devestatio, Thank you but that would be SO much work to modify all the textures to fit (You could potentially speed the process up by using a transform tool in your art program of choice)

I cannot really point to any tutorials either, but lucky for you the files are extremely simple to modify! they're just png files
All you need to do is locate the mod folder (Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/294100/ "ID of the mod") You can see the mod's id number on the top of steam's window, there's an url with id=number

Step 1 - Find both mod's files
Step 2 - Copy Apparello folder and move it to 'Steam/steamapps/common/RimWorld/Mods' and rename the folder
(This is to make the mod local, so you can freely modify it without worry)
Step 3 - Find the body textures of the other mod to use as a template to match the clothes over (I recommend using layers!)
Step 4 - Do not despair at the amount of work you see ahead of you
Step 5 (optional) - Try not to cry
Step 6 - Cry alot
Step 7 - Profit!
Devestatio 29 Aug, 2023 @ 11:33pm
@Shinzy Hi there, love the clothing in your mod, would it be possible to add compatibility for [SSR] Beatutiy Body please? https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2985408740&searchtext=body Or point me in the direction of a good video tutorial showing how I could do it myself ? Thanks in advance :) <3
spec02alex 20 Jul, 2023 @ 4:44pm
I like the gear, but damn, we need an overhaul on the graphics.
Scott 28 Jun, 2023 @ 1:18pm
Thanks @shinzy, found it
