Very cool jtfroh! Thanks for sharing this. Super fun to see people customizing and upgrading stuff :D
jtfroh 28. juli 2016 kl. 21:39
I also made a sealed one for use on Alien Planets. http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?edit=true&id=733503474

Hey I made a review video on this awesome ship/base. I actually made the video days ago but all my videos are scheduled to go up days after I have uploaded them
Here is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHtKEWWbV5Q
Hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed this ship ^_^

I love the openness and practicality of the thing. It does have a sort of hot air balloon look to the thing.
swatkats radical squadron 22. juli 2016 kl. 13:45
enteresting idea like a airship

Apart from the fact that a snail can move faster than this thing it's a nice little base for survival.
TTVTheMisusedPower 21. juli 2016 kl. 9:30
Actually it would be abreviated CAB.. which in a way it kinda it since you can taxi in it lol..
gergelypuskaval 21. juli 2016 kl. 9:18

EdgarAllanPwn  [ophavsmand] 20. juli 2016 kl. 1:12
Thanks Samurai Jack!

I love your ships, they all look very spartan and appropriate for the setting. No fanciness, just straight ease of use, repairability, and functionality. I especially like what you've done on some other ships where you have armor rigged just outside the hull as a sort of easily repairable armor.
EdgarAllanPwn  [ophavsmand] 19. juli 2016 kl. 23:37
Cool man! :)
jtfroh 19. juli 2016 kl. 23:16
So I added railings... and redundant antenna, extra lateral thrusters and a small hangar bay... I left it the same colors, though.

I might post it, with credit of course, just so I can get it from my computer later. If I do, it'll be by gregfroh, since my computer is broken right now, so I was using his.

It looks like the jumbo-tron of the future
NerdimusPrime 19. juli 2016 kl. 17:18
You have outdone yourself with this one. This thing is amazing!
[KGB] Urakaan 19. juli 2016 kl. 14:54
it just look like the balloon from monster hunter ;)
EdgarAllanPwn  [ophavsmand] 19. juli 2016 kl. 11:31
It always makes me happy to hear that the things I make are being used in the game - especially when people repaint and rework them to make them their own. It's very fun to see the different ways people use them vs. what I originally had in mind, and to see what people take off and/or add. Thanks for checking it out! :)
jtfroh 19. juli 2016 kl. 8:02
I'll probably end up using this for an outpost in my friends survival world in a month or two, though I'm gonna add railings... and maybe repaint it...
Shamux 19. juli 2016 kl. 8:01
Looks like a big baloon! Or maybe a bloated jellyfish?
jtfroh 19. juli 2016 kl. 8:00
Cool. I really wish they gave more HUD information on atmospheric properties. Local Density, percent Oxygen, percent Hydrogen, etc. Instead of just 'There is Oxygen!' or ' Nope!' It would make landing on a new planet a lot easier to plan for.
EdgarAllanPwn  [ophavsmand] 19. juli 2016 kl. 7:55
@Cherono Lord and jtfroh - I think you're right jtfroh, and I'm pretty sure that what's happening with the Alien world is that there is higher gravity but denser atmosphere. Denser atmosphere = more powerful atmospheric thrusters. All I can tell you for sure is that I tested them all by adding more and more cargo (on realistic settings) until it was so full that it could still ascend, but just barely. Thanks for checking it out and commenting! :)
jtfroh 19. juli 2016 kl. 7:47
OSHA would not approve of the lack of railings...

@Cherono Lord Less atmosphere means the atmospheric thrusters don't provide as much lift on Mars.
Cherono Lord 19. juli 2016 kl. 7:26
why mars like have lower capacity? I know it has less air bit also less gravity and therefore should allow to carry more.
also alien seems weird to allow more mass than earth..
Maks2103 19. juli 2016 kl. 2:28
Guys, do somebody knows where the VCI/VDI ships?
LunaCrusader 18. juli 2016 kl. 17:25

DROPSHIP CAPTAIN 18. juli 2016 kl. 14:27

Right on guys - I saw a couple hot air balloons fly low over my house the other day and I thought "space engineers needs a hot air balloon" :)
That Gaming Titan 17. juli 2016 kl. 10:14
Cool hot air balloon base Gope!
parkasever 16. juli 2016 kl. 23:35
It looks like a baloon or a medusa. I can't wait to test it out. It surely looks impressive and functional.
