@Harnessedhorse Radish, The "trade routes" if thats what you want to call them didnt have the ability to transport thousands of men and equipment. It wasnt a viable option for generals to send divisions through the desert.
Thanks for the quick response and thank you for creating this mod.
I believe i have fixed this error. I was able to replicate it, and after modifying some files it seems to now work without crashing. Thank you for informing me of this CTD.

I have run into an issue that causes a consistent crash to desktop though. With this mod enabled and all other mods turned off I get a consistent crash when viewing the Sahara area with a naval unit in a port selected.
Here are the exact steps I have used to reproduce this problem:
1) Load new 1936 start as France.
2) Select the naval forces at Toulon
3) Scroll south over the Sahara
4) Game will CTD consistently at this point.
The exceptions.log does indicate an error associated with this crash:
######## EXCEPTION: 0xC0000005 at address: 0x0168E272: ACCESS VIOLATION read attempt to address 0x00000014
