Toxic and Molten worlds can be terraformed, but no option shows up for Frozen-Barren worlds, and the other two Barren types insist that the planet has the Terraforming Candidate modifier first.
It's quite frustrating seeing all these planets you can't do anything with - I've got so used to this mod (and others) that when an update drops and we go back to vanilla, I am left horrified by the comparative shallowness of the game without any mods running...
well maybe we will se changes to that with the le Guine update (the tile size wont be hardcoded anymore I think).
I`ll try to colonise this planet and see what happens. mabe it is only a issue with the diplay of the tile size idk.
I'm not 100% on how the system works but what I do know or rather I've heard is that the planet max size is hard coded into the game so you can't get anything bigger than 25 :( however I've seen planets with a size of 30 in this mod least that is what the readout claimed lol
But how does this mod say how many tiles a terraformed planet will get? (uninhabitable planets without the terraform candidate perk do not have a size displayed)
Recently, I terraformed a cold baren world into an alpine planet with the mythical planet size of 27 although it only shows 25 tiles as always. Kinda interesting maybe it could be turned into a feature somehow? (*,.,*)
(srry for my bad english; I`m not a native speaker)
Is this mod compatible with V1.9? Or is there a seperate version, possibly?
This would help a lot, as at the moment you have to hunt through your systems visually looking at every body orbiting the suns, trying to see what type they are and what they cost, and then when you get a bit more energy, rinse and repeat. Love the result, but much fiddlier than it needs to be.
Awesome mod!
You got the perk and tried immediately and didn't see it.
You then closed down and reloaded. It doesn't matter that you removed the mod. What happened is that you reloaded the save.
This is just how Stellaris works - things *very* often don't happen instantly, they either require a reload or for the month to change over.
I finally got that ascension perk... dead last.
I don't overwrite anything. Are you...scrolling down to make sure you're looking at all the potential options?
We'll have to wait for the dev to figure out how to fix it.
I don't have it yet, but I've seen it and it is required to do the terriforming to machine type.
Didn't see a mention in the change log, but with your mod enabled, you may not terraform to the new 'Machine World' class introduced by the new DLC.
This mod does NOT rely on the terriforming candidate modifier.
You can terriform anything but gas giants, asteroids and suns.
I researched all the techs and still couldn't terraform any barren worlds because I never located a planet that had the modifier.
