Good game.
Petutski 25 Jan, 2015 @ 6:53am
Very interesting! I also did not see the need to deactivate the fizzler with the two laser sensors. Thanks!
asminahipi 3 Jul, 2013 @ 7:27am
buen trabajo,gracias
Mr.Johno 20 Jun, 2013 @ 3:37am
some of the communities finest map making. Well done :) 5/5

would you please check out one of my maps?
kimist108 12 Jun, 2013 @ 3:45pm
Enjoyed your test chamber.
RealLifePudding  [author] 24 Apr, 2013 @ 10:55am
@diego: nope, but couldnt fux it without making the room even bigger. but i guess it's not that easy to accomplish
Diego 23 Apr, 2013 @ 8:13pm
Nice map You know that you can jump from the moving plataform to the light bridge to pick the cube near the exit? Is that the right way?
Sir Rathc0cK 15 Jul, 2012 @ 12:51pm
cool test, try my chamber you will like it

Nice puzzle. Though you deactivate the fizzler, I found I never needed to do that, so I ignored the relays that deactivated it. Overall, good effort. Difficulty 6/10 Design 7/10
Mr.Bob806 28 Jun, 2012 @ 6:57pm
Hm. I didn't get very far in this puzzle before noticing some stuff that should probably be fixed. Here's a video of me finishing the map in what could have been 3 portals, if I really tried to do that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sErKVWFUg5s If you can't tell by watching the video, I use the observation room as a small walkway to get to the exit. I also could've used the other one

A quality map. I was a little intimidated at the start by the scale of the puzzle, but it was great fun figuring out and actually thinking with portals. My only complaint is that it's easy to forget about the lift which can make the puzzle seem impenetrable. The laser element wasn't frustrating (which is all to easy to create with laser relay puzzles), and there was plentiful supply of portalable surfaces. Maybe the scale of the puzzle is a little large - some of the walking distances were a touch too long, but it's not a major thing. Congratulations on a well-crafted puzzle; thanks for mapping!
thewalkinglink 17 Jun, 2012 @ 8:18pm
cool.
snackerfork 10 Jun, 2012 @ 11:00pm
I disagree about having to do it over being cumbersome, I enjoyed the way the puzzle came full circle in the end. Great map!
Erock 2 Jun, 2012 @ 12:11pm
Nice little map! It was fun and well layed out. As other people also mentioned, after you get the bridge and the lazers, needing to do it again in reverse order seems redundant and maybe cumbersome. Other than that great map! #F4F please!
[NeW]Yuria 1 Jun, 2012 @ 10:31am
Good work.
RealLifePudding  [author] 31 May, 2012 @ 1:14pm
i think i should remove the platform jumping, since it's not the intended solution
greyarea 31 May, 2012 @ 11:05am
Nice, thanks. The jump from the lift to the lightbridge is a bit tight, feels more like a platform game than Portal. Still fun though!
gaussmania 29 May, 2012 @ 9:48am
Well done! Good idea, nice and compact.
[CIR]Ebèto 27 May, 2012 @ 4:35am
Fix the emancipation grid near the exit, is bad spaced and you can shot a portal and pass through, without using the laser triggers that deactivate grids. Nice map.
Arcana Prime 26 May, 2012 @ 7:40pm
Nice puzzle, good compact layout but takes some time to figure out. It got a bit too backtracky after having to do the same mechanics over again just from different areas. Also the jump from the elevator plate to the light bridge is tough to make unless you shoot your portals just right, although from some of the other comments, it sounds like I may not have been doing it right. Otherwise I loved the laser trigger layouts and trying to figure out how to get them all activated was great. Good job. Please try one of my maps when you get a chance.
Icarus 26 May, 2012 @ 2:27pm
I think I cheated the solution. Not sure... But I didn't even need to wory about the fizzlers so that makes me think I found an unintended shortcut.
Malidictus 26 May, 2012 @ 4:49am
Interesting design. The trip with the light bridge is unusual, so porps for that, but it's kind of iffy to get to it, since the fizzler that the light detectors turn off leaves very little room to shoot a portal through. That, and the angled laser shot at the end is just mean since you have to aim the cube beforehand.
EttinTheBreton 23 May, 2012 @ 6:21pm
That was tricky :) Good level!
o+= 23 May, 2012 @ 6:41am

RealLifePudding  [author] 23 May, 2012 @ 3:23am
thx for the feedback! cool, that you liked the map
MeatBag 23 May, 2012 @ 1:59am
Go here to post speed passthrough by the window near exit, but there is already fresh post about it )
TreNathan 22 May, 2012 @ 11:42pm
As soon as I saw that there were portable walls next to the exit, I had to try jump and strafe and it worked. Also the window helped to jump onto the floor close to the exit. Here's a faster apporach to the map only using one cube and jumping. Nothing else :) http://youtu.be/0K6lk7vRb-U
lingura 22 May, 2012 @ 11:23pm
i loved it :)
Scar le Clébard 22 May, 2012 @ 9:21pm
Took me like half an hour to pass this... Nice job !
frazzled 22 May, 2012 @ 8:21pm
I liked it. For a while didn't think it was doable, then got an aha while wandering lighwalks. Thanks!
Jambalaya 22 May, 2012 @ 7:52pm
disengaging the fizzlers isnt needed. Other than that, nice puzzle
Yuki 22 May, 2012 @ 5:34pm
dislike sorry easy puzzle and need skills
randomTANGENT 22 May, 2012 @ 2:12pm
Liked the map although I also jumped from the elevator onto the light bridge (thought that was the solution until I watched the video whoops)
Oberst Klink 22 May, 2012 @ 12:44pm
Quite a nice map. Looks simple but requires a bit of pre-planning. Made it more complicated for myself than it had to be but got there in the end. :)
DSVella 22 May, 2012 @ 11:40am
A wonderful map! well done.
RealLifePudding  [author] 21 May, 2012 @ 4:28pm
the use is, that it prevents you from placeing a portal
nqeron 21 May, 2012 @ 4:25pm
decent puzzle - but I found no use/need for the emancipation grid that could be retracted.
Mr Beans 21 May, 2012 @ 2:24pm
lol only ninjas can do that... I did see I could just portal above the light bridge though
RealLifePudding  [author] 21 May, 2012 @ 2:07pm
damnit, should i remove this "exploit"? because thats not really the intended solution :D
Mr Beans 21 May, 2012 @ 1:53pm
I found that hard too. but I worked it out. Its all about timing. Anyway its a good logical map. #F4F ;)
Acunil 17 May, 2012 @ 12:42pm
Ok this time I jumped on the lightbridge from the elevator. Took a few attempts but eventually figured out how long to leave it.
RealLifePudding  [author] 17 May, 2012 @ 12:31pm
thx. should be fixed now
Acunil 17 May, 2012 @ 12:19pm
Got the light bridge and jumped up the wall next to the entrance. Shimmy along a bit towards the elevator, then walk all the way across to the exit. Drop down from there and shoot portals to make the laser hit all the receivers. Home free.
RealLifePudding  [author] 17 May, 2012 @ 11:19am
nope, wall climbing should not be the answer. where did you climb?
Acunil 17 May, 2012 @ 11:16am
Got the lasers immediately. I've experimented with angles and lasers a bit and this is good and clean. Escaping with the light bridge took me a while like a noob. Used wall climbing to get to the other side, which I hope is the right answer! Good map.
Jawful 17 May, 2012 @ 8:13am
Nice map! I liked the systematic approach to solving puzzles and this certainly incorporated that. I also have a thing for multiple relays being activated by one laser.. So that was good. Well designed, thumbs up!
RealLifePudding  [author] 15 May, 2012 @ 3:38pm
thx for the feedback. I altered the chamber a little bit according to your video, thx for that.
Momo 15 May, 2012 @ 1:59pm
Good chamber, I really liked it a lot. I broke it a little bit but it turned out to not be a big deal. The crossing lasers were nice and it wasn't hard to get the right angle at all. I did a blind video of me playing here: http://www.twitch.tv/nagrom_17/b/318320627
