Hello, this question has been asked earlier, but is there a way to get a mod like this for warhammer2?
Spartan VI  [author] 8 Feb, 2018 @ 11:55am
Yeah they're modded too
Velovar 8 Feb, 2018 @ 11:39am
Hi, first of all, thank you for this fantastic mod! Second, can you also do this for ROR Slayer unit? You missed that one so it is now weaker then regual slayers. Please add it too! Cheers!
Attilacz 2 Nov, 2017 @ 11:12pm
Good day, are you going to rework this mod for warhammer 2 ? Thank you for answer :)
Spartan VI  [author] 20 Sep, 2017 @ 7:47am

Thanks for contacting me on discord. The issue was actually SweDream's unit size needed to be set to maximum for the campaign. :D:
SweDreams 16 Sep, 2017 @ 4:29pm
Hello,

So I'm noticing that the unit size for my slayers is actually 9, not 12. Is this a bug or intentional? Finally I was wondering if you would consider either buffing the slayers further or otherwise just making them more useful, because even with this mod, the unit feels lackluster and nearly pointless to take. More slayers or higher stat values would be worth consideration. Even just a "Mildly OP slayer Buff mod" would be awesome.

Spartan VI  [author] 1 Sep, 2017 @ 9:53am
Haha np. Definitely overrides the vanilla unit size.
Markliuz Da Jesterly 1 Sep, 2017 @ 6:34am
I meant like, vanilla unit sizes. ops.
Spartan VI  [author] 31 Aug, 2017 @ 5:53pm
It will either override a unit size mod or be overridden itself. Load order is sorted alphabetically if I recall correctly. Can't tell you for sure without testing it, so give it a shot.
Markliuz Da Jesterly 31 Aug, 2017 @ 10:13am
Does this work accordingly with unit sizes?
kor_grimgor 14 Aug, 2017 @ 7:39am
update plz ~
chubbyninja89 (TNB) 6 Aug, 2017 @ 4:51am
You should make a small mod that just gives Dragonback Slayers great weapons in their normal state.
Spartan VI  [author] 1 Aug, 2017 @ 5:55am
This isnt a Radious Submod. This is a mod by a member of Team Radious (me), not a submod. ;)
Thamas Rugin 1 Aug, 2017 @ 12:03am
Why is this an official Radious sub-mod if it is not compatible with Radious? Was a bummer when I loaded it up and it did not work with Radious.

This mod is perfect man, it really works well with vanilla. But it didn't "mashed" with SFO, sadly. Even if I load this mod first, somehow SFO overtakes it. For example, the Dragon Slayers uses greataxes, but with the original dual axe animation. Also, the size of the armies were overtaken as well, lol Even with the load order SFO just "steal" everything. It's not possible to make this compatible with SFO?

Love this mod, I think the Grail Knights need a similar treatment honestly.
Spartan VI  [author] 23 Apr, 2017 @ 2:16pm
Np and welcome to modding! :D:
Antholeon 23 Apr, 2017 @ 9:46am
It worked, thanks a lot, now you've got me interested in exploring this a bit more xD, again, thanks a lot.
Spartan VI  [author] 22 Apr, 2017 @ 8:26pm
Extra credit: You could upload this to the Steam Workshop if you want to get rid of the outdated warning message, but you'll also need a matching art file to accompany your upload. Simply rename one of the PNG files so that the name is an exact match to the pack file you created (without the .pack at the end of course).
Spartan VI  [author] 22 Apr, 2017 @ 8:26pm
Np, it should be one of the easier things to do. You can download the latest version of PFM (Pack File Manager) from twcenter.net .

- Launch PFM, open the reskin mod's pack file, then on the upper left side, right click on the item furthest up the hierarchy (it should match the name of the pack file) and click Add > From Pack.
- Navigate to your "steamapps/common/total war warhammer/data" folder, and select this mod (spartanvi_slayers.pack).
- A new window will pop-up, click the [+] signs to expand the hierarchy until you see one named "db," right click the "db" item and click OK. That will import all of the db tables from my mod into the pack file you have open.
- Go up to File > Save As, and rename your mod to something unique, then enable your mod in the Mod Manager. You may have to check the box to enable outdated mods (Mod Manager treats all mods that aren't uploaded to the Steam Workshop as outdated).
Antholeon 22 Apr, 2017 @ 6:19pm
Thanks for the answer, I don't really have much idea about modding but I will look into it and try to do it for sure.
Spartan VI  [author] 22 Apr, 2017 @ 6:07pm
They're both modifying the variant mesh. You can open up PFM and merge the mods manually by copying my db tables over to the reskin's pack file.
Antholeon 22 Apr, 2017 @ 5:32pm
Love your mod, I have been using it for my dwarf campaign, but just recently i suscribed to Drydain dwarf reskin and got a problem, mechanically the mod still works, but the dragonback slayers seems to be holding invisible greataxes while having axes at their waist, you think this has a fix? ultimately I will unsuscribe to the dwarfs reskin, but I would like to use both.

Cheers and great work.
Spartan VI  [author] 21 Mar, 2017 @ 2:00pm
Noticed that since slayers got a buff in a vanilla patch, that these modified slayers were actually lagging behind a bit. Made some changes to restore parity. Modded Slayers should be just as strong as their vanilla counterparts, but a little more effective at single combat (e.g. combat against smaller unit sizes) and combat vs. large (e.g. monsters, cavalry, etc.).

Thanks for the update!
Spartan VI  [author] 28 Feb, 2017 @ 10:33am
Oh sweet, did not know that. Thanks. :D:
OliTiv 28 Feb, 2017 @ 10:31am
RoR is a free update so it should be fine!
Spartan VI  [author] 28 Feb, 2017 @ 10:28am
Updated again. I changed the color of the Dragonback Slayer's axe to a red/brown hilt to match their attire (was formerly the blue hilt). Please let me know if there are any issues. The weapon model I used is one from a RoR unit, so I'm not sure if DLC is required for that to appear properly.
OliTiv 28 Feb, 2017 @ 10:09am
Thank you <3
Spartan VI  [author] 28 Feb, 2017 @ 10:05am
Re-uploaded for the Bretonnia Free-LC (aka Old World Edition) update. Didn't change any of the Slayers' stat values. Validated in custom battle.
OliTiv 27 Feb, 2017 @ 2:01pm
One of if not the best mod description. Well done mate
~~ The Tide Rider ~~ 27 Feb, 2017 @ 4:34am

Thank you brother appreciate it.

- Changed Dragonback Slayers to a great weapon unit. This is aesthetic only, so their stats remain the same.
- Changed Dragonback Slayers' unit card / icon art (see screenshots).
