No crashes anymore - don't understand it. But fine.
What does is not functioning: Landwehr. If the unit is upgraded to Landwehr it NEVER has the special skills.

I never attack CS cities ...

Thx. I use v11. The next problem I have: much more crashes. No day without a crash.
I tried it now with a unappropriated musketeer and a unappropriated Landwehr. Musketeer upgrade - murging and it had the skills. Itried this several times.
So it seems to be that only already merged unites which I grade up toLandwehr don't get the special skills.

In v11 everything seems normal, if anything Landwehr even keeps bonus vs CS cities upon upgrading into Great War Infantry.

Landwehr: I uprade to it and do not get the special 2 special skills. This is a bug! If not - useless because at this time I have enough well trained close combat forces so I do not produce more.

ok thanks.
I really liked that ability though. Was it too unbalanced?

Reserves were removed in recent (2020) update. Ability is now mainly about XP summing.

I'm experiencing issues with Prussias UA:
When i combine two units, they only receive the combat bonus, not the reserves.
Any idea why?

@Teddyk: thx
Teddyk  [author] 2 Aug, 2018 @ 10:50am
Iirc, when you merge two units with 60XP, you get unit with 120XP (so it is a tool to acquire those precious tier 4 promotions faster). Unit also gain +10% Combat Bonus (if I haven't removed it) and has pseudo healing mechanism (called reserves) which heal them on the beginning of turn.

Prussia:
Merging 2 units - why/what is stronger? I don't see it and it also looses the promotions of one unit.

Deleting Civ5ModsDatabase.db cache in ...\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache should redownload/recheck all subscribed mods. Eventually use steam workshop downloader if it is still running. Using Google is helpful as well.

This is failing to load in the game's mod folder after I selected to update the file.
Can you help me out?

Thanks for the help

Thanks for reporting. I haven't noticed it. Seems I fixed it. Unfortunately, I am not gonna update mod right today.
You can fix it right now by replacing the file in mod folder (usually in ...Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS): file [www.dropbox.com].

Thanks again.

Hey, I noticed a little glitch with this mod, specifically with the HRE. If you press a hotkey that opens a new in-game window while you are on the leader election screen (i.e. Civopedia), once you hit esc button a new selection of leaders appears.

Footage as proof: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mp4cjEcXqto&feature=youtu.be (I muted the audio in-game so I decided to add some music while edting the footage)

I discovered this when I tried taking a screenshot of the election screen and I had the screenshot hotkey set to F4, which was already set to Diplomatic info.

Other than that, brilliant mod. I like the HRE's UA the best.

If anyone want to know more about HRE's uniques, check this Wikia page: http://civilization-v-customisation.wikia.com/wiki/Holy_Roman_Empire_(Elected_Emperor)_(LastSword)

The Athenian civilization is particularly interesting to me in this new pack. You always produce creative, quality work - please, don't stop yet!

I agree with what Ivenend _swei833 said.
mhrbnbngs 9 Jul, 2016 @ 2:05pm
Are the new leaders animated?
Zwei833 the Buggy Modder 6 Jul, 2016 @ 8:54pm
I suggest that HRE should have some pre-made HRE emperors and HRE units as the
candidate of the Imperial Election, instead of random Leaders/Units already in Civiilzation 5, it is weird to see Genghis Khan as the Emperor and Samurai as UU.

The HRE !!!

Your packs are becoming better and more creative with each release. My main issue though is wanting to pick and choose certain civs that I already have duplicates of (Such as Athens) but want one or two of your mods factions (such as Holy Roman Empire), due to the fact that I'm approaching the 259 civ limit. Once you try to start a game with more than 259 civs past the mod setup screen, the civilopedia glitches out and trying to start the game crashes. I've tried to split some of your packs up but Steam automatically redownloads and repairs the files each time.

tl;dr I want to use some civs from your packs and remove others, is this possible?

does this have mod compatibility?
