Then again it didn't really affect much as it was a singular segment in what is essentially a solid level.
I absolutely agree with your point about the armored cars. I wanted the player to be able to keep up their combo while still outside the house, so I put the two patrolling enemies there. I couldn't find a way of having "walls" outside of the house that didn't look a little weird, so I decided to use the armored cars instead, as they fit in with the mafia faction. They could be using them as getaway vehicles or to sell drugs out of I suppose. The cars still look kinda shoehorned in, even though they were some of the first things I put in the level.
I really haven't the foggiest idea how to do pixel art. Thanks for your kind comments but that is definitely an area I need to improve on!
