I feel like you should be able to chose if Manchukuo is puppeted or not. The same way you can chose if you run places like Ukraine like a federal or confederate state. It's annoying to paly as Japan and have Manchukuo be nothing but useless to me.

The countries are still occupied, if you play as Germany, you can release Bavaria, and the English can release loads of colonies.

Great mod. I think the main problem I have is that Manchukuo makes Japan always lose the war against China. I have yet to see a successful invasion of China
