haha that is actually my favorite part!

Glad you liked it! This map has definitely been one of the three I've made so far that has received the least attention. Perhaps the light bridge jumping is what gets to people who have tried it...it certainly is my least favorite part...and I designed the thing!

Really enjoyed this map, it was pretty much non-stop calculations in my head from start to finish. Well done!!

Things are working the way they should again and the original screenshot of the map has been put back into place. Hooray! Now if only I could get more people to visit this page and subscribe!

I cannot explain why, but Steam is showing the same map layout for this map as my other map, Shaft. I provided a screenshot of the map I took myself in the hopes that people will at least see that image on the map's main page and take it to know that this is a different and unique map not even close to the other. Hopefully Steam figures out what's going wrong with the published file and things will go back to the way they were before my last update went into effect.

13 Mb. It's pretty big. Orginally when I started using the tools to build this map I extended the surfaces to the whole 25x25 cube they allow. One I worked with the chambers to fill in the lower portion of the cube space roughly 6-10 tiles high depending on certain rooms, I figured the map had already begun to sprawl plenty enough, and that because I hit the object count limit, and that going further would have been impossible if not mind numbing. So this map uses roughly 25x10 as a grid space and comes out as a result to a whopping 13 Mb compared to smaller maps.

This map weigh 13 Gb or 13 Mg ?

My apologies for making that more complicated than it should have. There were surfaces that were portalable in the blue goo room that I did not mean to give you access to. The room is meant to be locked until you open the way with the sphere. I have updated the map to make the said surfaces inaccessable and hope to convince you to try the map again knowing that you were origanlly not supposed to have access to the blue goo room immediately.

Wasted a good hour on this. First I got trapped in the blue goo room cause theres no way to portal out of there once you take the cube in. Tried going the other way, but there are a bunch of lasers and I just have the plain companion cube instead of the redirection cube. : /

This is the first map I designed so its got some limitations that need fleshing out, and this is where I turn to you, the good Portal 2 community to help out. A couple of ideas have already been mentioned for me to tweak:

1) Add an alcove in the blue goo room at the top of the room by the cube dispenser for people to see into the final area before the exit room to let people see what puzzles are in store at the end.

2) Make it possible to go back into the starting rooms once you get past the wall that closes behind you under the stairwell once you cut off access to the laser recepticle that gives access to this room.

3) Draw more attention to the back room where you pick up the first laser cube with glass walls providing an observation alcove in the arial faith plates room to give a bigger hint as to the way forward.

If you have any others, please don't hesitate to help me out with more.

This map made me experience all the primal emotions: fear, surprise, anger, joy, laughter, happiness, confusion. Mostly anger. It's an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish and should hopefully have you sitting in front of your screen late into the night, shaking your fist and screaming out loud, "Paaaaaaaaaaaantz!" as you then break down into a fit of maniacal laughter.
