Hello. I just noticed, that this mod seems to generate multiple error messages:

I am lloking for some planet for my new monorail and this one look good on the pictures, tomorrow I will check that myself ;)

I thank you for being supportive of my content. Updates are coming so stay tuned. It is taking some time but I want to make them great in all ways possible. Now that we have weather patterns and other features, it takes some more time to create these updates and test everything out.

a) Updated the code to the new version

Nothing much really just made it work for the latest version of the game.
Everything should work correctly. I've spawned this without issues ( pink textures, etc. )

This probably will get a few tweak updates further down the line.

@Rantalunta, thanks. Platinium is found, only in certain areas, they are big deposits but you have to pin point them. Cheers!

Hey MLTMods, I really like what you have done here. Very nice big valleys, steep cliffs... good panorama views here and there. Made for driving around in vehicles :) All ores (I did not find Platin, yet) on Planet is good for people who like to stay on ground for a while.

@altarin, thanks for dropping by and letting me know. I'm aware there are some issues, but didn't know about the ones you're commenting about.
So sure, there is a whole update coming for every single planet in the collection, so they all work well with the latest version of the game. I'm on it, so I'll let you know when the upload will be droppin'.

So it seems that with the new update adding wind mechanics, the planets with an atmosphere in your (awesome) collection are unusable with the new wind turbine.The game also seems to act like the planet doesn't have an atmosphere sound-wise; the sounds of blocks plopping down are that of space. Just thought I aught to let you know, in case you don't know already.

I love these planets, by the way; Having them all in a solar system is stellar, pun intended. :)

where is nickel ? im based at a polar region, in perpetual darkness. i have searched for hours in all directions 20km+ and cannot find any nickel. is it located only in a particular region ? thank you . love the planet, very beautiful.

Ahh, makes sense. We migrated to OEN3 roughly 1 year ago, so this was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. We have 4x news agencies and it's extremely rare that they get to report about "the weather", so it's been fun for them. They got some great new screen-shots with 'fresh laden snow', hehe. :)

@Cytosine, hi there. It seems to me, that at some point Ter4 lost its snow due to game updates. Now I just added it back. The main difference vs. the first release is that the savanna biome now surrounds the desert area, while at the beginning it used to run along the entire equator.
I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. If for some reason you liked the world without snow, I can make you a special file for your server ( the same as now, but without snow, it might be useful if you want to make season changes ). :steamhappy:

Ha! Our largest Ter4 colony "Asteria" happened to be on one of the poles. Looks like you updated this just in time for Christmas! The snow is great, our planetside players got a real kick out of that. Thanks!!!

@Cytosine, yes there have been a lot of changes regarding planets. I still haven't had the chance to start updating all of my planets. I will though, it's my #1 priority right now.

Looks like Keen changed 'Cyberhound' to 'Wolf' in the PlanetGeneratorDefinitionsSMU.sbc and other files. So Ter4 will no longer spawn wolves/zombies if set to do so. I fixed it in a test mod if you want a copy, but I'm sure you know better how to do that than I. Just FYI. Thanks for the great planets and OEN3 system! :)

Haven't tried this out in a while. I'm waiting for the final release of SE, then I will be updating all of my planets.
This one hasn't been updated in a long while so that is probably why the dry grass biome isn't working.
I'll let you guys know when everything is ready.

+Spartan, well it seems it is not possible due to the fact that it is coded in. So if you enable wolves in the config menu, all planets that have wolves in their code, will display them.
Since earth by default has them they will always display if you enable them.

I wish they this option within the game, planetwise.
I will get back to SE planet modding soon, and will check out all the problems people are having.

I believe Ter4 is killing me. I thought it was just Wheels and rovers being screwed over again but I now spontaneously explode no more than 30 minutes into each Rover's maiden voyage. Typically, blocks on the front of my cockpit go first and when those are gone and some random stone is created in invisible collisions, I explode completely.

Hi, please download the Planet Analysis Documentation, from the link above.
You will find the Lithological maps in there. With them you can find ore more easily.
I suggest you zoom in on the maps to get a more detailed view.
Above there is some info provided as to how to use these maps.

I did all what you said, it didn't work( All another planets from your workshop is on planet list, but Planet Ter4 isn't(( I've tried put only workshop file, and tried download an put it like local mod, and tried put together. You can try downloading it using steamworkshop downloader. After download unzip archive to "mods" folder, and rename unzipped folder to "Planet Ter4". Let me know if this worked for you.

The star systems work as a world file, so everything in it will be there without needing to add each planet separately. The game should download the mods needed at game load.

I don't remember very well the state the vegetation was in, not sure if it doesn't show up, or not all areas have them. I do know they won't be blocking your way.

how the star systems work? can you have all planets at once in your game (not needing adding each planet separetely)? that would be even better. EDIT: i wouldn't care about some vegetation if it's bit of wrong place, unless it's blocking my movement.

Hi, sorry for the late answer, well it works but for instance the vegetation isn't working correctly, though the ore deposits do.
Either way I will be updating this shortly, this is the only planet missing an update that corresponds to the Oen3 Star System, which I plan to release this month.

Lake bug seems to have reversed itself, there is now a little grass on the lake instead.
