Thats exaxtly how I'm going about it. I'm trying to pick characters that are or could concivably be military leaders. Although there are a few that aren't.

I've been thinking, for the general portraits, wouldn't it be more sensible to add anime characters that are in a similar military setting, (for example characters from fullmetal alchemist brotherhood, which is one of my favourites :), than just random anime characters from any anime. What do you think?

And now that I think about it, I'm recently watching an anime with a badass female character, Ezra Scarlet from Fairy Tail, though I'm not sure what country she should join. She has a great sense of Justice though so her personality might fit being a commander of an Allies country.

Omg I never thought about adding anime characters to the portraits of the military leaders, great that u picked that up :D.

And there's another person PrismaCube that made hetalia portraits already, I'm subbed to her mod too as well as yours. I mentioned to Prisma to do like a collaboration between u and her but seems she wants to do it by herself. (Unsure if it's a she or he).

It's cool though, your mod might be even better with military leader portraits as anime characters :). As for suggestions I'd have to think about that but first I want to mention is please don't add Loli characters like from girls and panzer etc, but of course it all comes down to you. I'd recommend anime characters who'd look like they can command an army xD, doesn't matter if female or male.

For those who want the hetalia portraits mod. I also think it is a great idea. However, I was thinking that the Major leaders of each country would be the hetalia characters, but the military leaders would be just characters from other animes. (I'd be kind of boring having 6 of the same portrait commanding your armies)

Also, I will take suggestions for what characters to put in. Just post the name, what anime they are from, and what country they should be a part of. I will try and add as many of them as I can.

I might consider it. But It would only be after I get all the flags replaced for this mod.
